Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Trading Operations to lead and oversee our trading operations team. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless execution of trade reconciliation and risk management processes through systematic and automated solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systematic trading, particularly in a high-frequency trading (HFT) environment, and advanced Python programming skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the trading operations team to ensure accurate trade reconciliation and robust risk management.
• Develop, implement, and enhance automation tools in Python to streamline operational tasks.
• Establish systematic workflows for trade and position reconciliation.
• Oversee and monitor risk management processes, ensuring alignment with firm objectives.
• Collaborate with trading, risk, and technology teams to optimize operational efficiency.
• Analyze and address discrepancies in trading and operational data proactively.
• Provide strategic insights to improve existing systems and workflows.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a systematic trading environment, ideally at a high-frequency trading (HFT) firm.
• In-depth knowledge of equities, ETFs, futures, and options markets.
• Strong Python programming skills with a focus on automation and data processing.
• Familiarity with risk management tools and practices.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with trading infrastructure and operational tools specific to HFT environments.
• Understanding of key performance metrics in a proprietary trading firm.
