Private Paediatric Nurse (RNC)- Complex Care Specialist

Location: York

Shifts/working hours: Flexible day and night shifts available

Pay rates: £28.62 - £31.11 per hour (including holiday pay)  

 

About the Role

At Ellea Nursing, we believe in care like no other. We are currently recruiting a dedicated Paediatric Nurse to provide 5-star, bespoke private care for a young boy in the York area. In this private 1-to-1 environment, you will have the time and resources to practice truly holistic nursing. You will seamlessly integrate into the family’s daily life, acting as both a clinical expert and a reassuring presence. 

Bespoke Care Requirements

You will be supporting a male client who lives with Cerebral Palsy, global development delay, and sensory impairments (visual and hearing). Your bespoke care plan will involve: 

• Respiratory Excellence: Administering chest physio alongside oral, nasopharyngeal, and deep suctioning to maintain comfort and safety. 
• Nutritional Support: Managing feeds and medications via a Dual Port Gastro-jej. 
• Neurological Management: Providing expert oversight for Epilepsy, Dystonia, and Hypoxic Ischaemic Encephalopathy. 
• Environmental Safety: Ensuring absolute compliance with the family's strict NO NUTS house rule.

Role Requirements

 

• Valid NMC Registration (RNC). 
• 12 months’ UK nursing experience within a hospital setting
• Proficiency in delivering excellent customer service
• Ability to provide care in various settings
• A right to work in the UK
