Inspired by the wisdom, strength, and nurturing nature of elephants, our name reflects our commitment to care, integrity, and empowerment. We are dedicated to ensuring that our customers, partners, and community feel supported, valued, and protected.

As a member of our team, you will help bring this mission to life by upholding our values of accountability, collaboration, excellence, integrity, and care. We are looking for individuals who take pride in delivering high-quality experiences and thrive in a fast-moving, innovative environment.

Position Overview

EllieMD is seeking a rigorous, execution-oriented, seasoned Product Manager preferably on the east coast with strong product fundamentals and a hardware-informed mindset. This person will help build and ship products that drive the evolution of our healthcare platform.

We are looking for someone who can think across software, physical products, operations, compliance, logistics, and user experience. The ideal candidate can translate complex stakeholder needs into clear product requirements, user outcomes, and shipped solutions.

This role is well-suited for someone with experience or fluency in hardware, connected devices, physical products, regulated product environments, supply chain-aware product development, or operationally complex systems. You understand that great products are not only software experiences. They must also work reliably in the real world across physical workflows, partner operations, logistics, compliance requirements, fulfillment constraints, and end-user behavior.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner directly with the leadership team to translate strategic vision into products that customers and Brand Partners love.
  • Translate customer, Brand Partner, operational, and stakeholder needs into product requirements that account for both digital and physical product realities.
  • Bring a hardware-informed product mindset to roadmap decisions, including feasibility, manufacturability, operational complexity, logistics, quality, compliance, reliability, supportability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Compliance, Fulfillment, Customer Support, and Brand Partner teams to ensure products can be successfully built, launched, delivered, and supported.
  • Create product artifacts that capture end-to-end requirements across the full product lifecycle, including user outcomes, stakeholder needs, technical constraints, operational workflows, physical product dependencies, launch readiness, and post-launch support requirements.
  • Anticipate real-world implementation risks, including vendor dependencies, fulfillment constraints, quality issues, regulatory considerations, physical product limitations, and customer experience breakdowns.
  • Evaluate tradeoffs between customer experience, business impact, technical feasibility, operational readiness, compliance, and physical product constraints.
  • Deeply understand and represent the voice of EllieMD’s Brand Partners and customers in everything you build.
  • Define success metrics, prioritize product problems, and ship solutions that achieve measurable business goals.
  • Own and drive one or more products from concept through launch and beyond, maintaining accountability for outcomes and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with Design, Engineering, Data, and Operations to learn quickly, iterate rapidly, and ship high-quality products.
  • Build and maintain product backlogs that balance quick wins with long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Drive progress against milestones, resolve blockers, and maintain healthy team execution.
  • Gather and analyze user research, product insights, and market data to inform product decisions and prioritization.
  • Create structured product documentation, including PRDs, user stories, and technical specifications, to guide implementation and ensure team alignment.
  • Coordinate effectively across functions to ship products that work seamlessly across the customer journey.
  • Communicate clearly about what you are building, why it matters, progress updates, risks, and key learnings.
  • Identify gaps and interdependencies across systems and proactively ship solutions that improve organizational efficiency.
  • Facilitate brainstorming and strategy sessions, distilling complexity into products that solve real problems.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with a proven ability to build and scale products from early stages.
  • Experience building or managing products in hardware, connected devices, physical products, healthcare products, regulated products, supply chain-heavy environments, or operationally complex systems.
  • Strong hardware-oriented product mindset, with the ability to think beyond screens and software flows into real-world usage, operations, fulfillment, quality, reliability, compliance, and customer support.
  • Ability to translate business and user needs into product requirements that account for both digital experiences and physical product constraints.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, which may include Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Vendors, Compliance, Quality, Customer Support, and Go-to-Market stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of how product decisions affect downstream execution, including sourcing, vendor coordination, launch readiness, fulfillment, onboarding, support, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong track record of balancing user experience and technical scalability in products you have built.
  • Data-driven approach, with experience digging into data, defining clear goals, and driving teams to ship products that deliver measurable impact.
  • Proven ability to translate strategic vision into products that customers use and love.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional collaboration and influencing without direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with hardware products, connected health devices, consumer health products, medical devices, diagnostics, wellness products, or other physical-product-driven businesses.
  • Experience working with hardware/software ecosystems where digital interfaces, operational workflows, and physical goods must work together seamlessly.
  • Familiarity with product development cycles that include vendor management, supply chain planning, quality assurance, packaging, fulfillment, logistics, inventory, returns, or customer support operations.
  • Experience in regulated or compliance-heavy physical product environments, including healthcare, FDA-regulated products, consumer health, wellness, medical devices, or diagnostics.
  • Experience partnering with external manufacturers, vendors, distributors, fulfillment partners, or operational teams.
  • Experience in startups, healthcare, health-tech, or wellness industries.
  • Experience with e-commerce, subscription systems, or marketplace platforms.
  • Familiarity with direct sales, MLM, affiliate, or partner network models.
  • Experience working with regulated industries or compliance frameworks, such as HIPAA, FDA, or healthcare compliance.
  • Proficiency with product management and collaboration tools such as Linear, Figma, Miro, or similar platforms.
  • Technical background or strong fluency in working with engineering teams.

Who You Are

  • A product manager with a hardware-informed mindset who understands that product quality depends on the entire end-to-end experience, not just the software interface.
  • Someone who can think across digital, physical, operational, and customer experience layers to build products that work in the real world.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity in environments where software, hardware, supply chain, compliance, operations, and customer experience intersect.
  • A systems thinker who understands dependencies across physical products, digital tools, operational workflows, partner enablement, and end-user outcomes.
  • Someone who can pressure-test ideas against real-world constraints, including feasibility, cost, timing, reliability, compliance, fulfillment, and supportability.
  • A builder who thrives at the intersection of vision, systems, and execution, and ships products that prove it.
  • Someone who can think strategically while remaining hands-on in shipping and iterating on products.
  • Deeply customer-focused and committed to understanding user needs and building products that solve real pain points.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and resourceful, with the ability to drive products from concept to launch.
  • A strong communicator who creates clarity and alignment across diverse stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working side-by-side with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to build high-quality products.
  • Passionate about improving healthcare experiences and building products that support both customers and partners.
  • Aligned with EllieMD’s core values: Accountability, Collaboration, Excellence, Integrity, and Care.

Compensation & Structure

  • Future Conversion: Planned transition to full-time W2 in 2026.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
