Marketing Manager

USA (EST)

About EllieMD

EllieMD is on a mission to revolutionize healthcare by empowering individuals with pharmaceutical-grade products and a network of dedicated brand partners. We believe healthcare should be accessible, transparent, and built on trust. Inspired by the wisdom, strength, and nurturing nature of elephants, our name reflects our commitment to care, integrity, and empowerment—ensuring that our customers, partners, and community feel supported, valued, and protected.

As a member of our team, you’ll help bring this mission to life by upholding our values of accountability, collaboration, and excellence. We’re looking for individuals who take pride in delivering high-quality experiences and who thrive in a fast-moving, innovative environment.

Position Overview

The Marketing Manager will serve as the "Engine Room" of the EllieMD marketing department. This is a high-impact role designed for a master project manager and marketing generalist who thrives on turning high-level strategy into executable tasks. You will oversee the production workflow and ensure that our internal team and external distributors have the assets they need to drive growth in the peptide and longevity space.

This is a pivotal role at EllieMD. You won't just be "doing marketing"—you will be helping to build a department. You will have a direct hand in the operations of a rapidly scaling telehealth platform and work closely with leadership to define how we show up in the longevity market.

What You’ll Do:

30-60-90 Day Plan:

  • Days 1–30 (The Audit & Alignment): Deep dive into current workflows. Shadow the Director to understand the "EllieMD Standard." Audit Linear to identify where projects are stalling.
  • Days 31–60 (The Partnership Phase): Partner with the Director to translate high-level campaign visions into actionable project maps. Begin managing the "execution pod" (Designers/Social/Spanish/Video) to ensure the Director's creative direction is being followed to the letter.
  • Days 61–90 (The Operational Lead): Take full ownership of the production timeline. The Director provides the "What" and "Why"; the Manager ensures the "How" and "When." Successfully bridge the gap between Director-level strategy and team-level output.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Own the project management system (Linear). You will be responsible for tasking, tracking deadlines, and ensuring the team (Design, Content, Social) stays on schedule.
  • Campaign Coordination: Move marketing initiatives from ideation to launch. You will coordinate between the Director of Marketing and the execution team to ensure every campaign has the necessary emails, ads, and landing pages.
  • Team Management: Provide direct oversight and structure for our marketing and design team, ensuring they have clear briefs and the resources needed to succeed.
  • Distributor Support: Act as the bridge between Marketing and our Sales field. You will ensure our distributors have compliant collateral to grow their independent businesses.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all assets meet EllieMD’s premium brand standards and telehealth compliance requirements before they go live.
  • Process Optimization: Constantly audit our workflows to remove friction, improve speed-to-market, and ensure the department runs autonomously.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4+ years in marketing management or project management, preferably in Telehealth, Wellness, or a Direct Sales/MLM model.
  • Systems Expert: Proficiency in modern PM tools (Linear, Asana, or Monday.com) and the Google Workspace suite.
  • Communication: Strong ability to translate "creative vision" into "technical tasks." You must be able to write clear, concise, creative briefs.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced "startup" environment where priorities can shift based on market trends (like GLP-1/longevity breakthroughs).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in startups, healthcare, health-tech, and/or direct sales industries.
  • Experience working with regulated industries (HIPAA, FDA, healthcare compliance).

Who You Are:

  • A relentless "unbottlenecker" who thrives on turning high-level creative vision into a clear, actionable project plan.
  • A systems architect who instinctively looks for ways to automate, document, and streamline workflows in Linear.
  • Composed and steady—you are the "calm in the storm" who can manage tight deadlines and shifting priorities without breaking a sweat.
  • A natural facilitator who can bridge the gap between creative designers, technical UI/UX leads, and the sales field.
  • Highly autonomous; you can drive a department forward with minimal supervision.
  • A proactive partner to the Director who takes pride in 'protecting their time'—you handle the operational complexity so the leadership can focus on high-level brand vision and growth strategy.
  • A high-velocity executor who thrives in a "live-fire" environment; you are energized by tight timelines and can pivot a team’s entire daily sprint in response to real-time market shifts without losing operational rigor.
  • Aligned with EllieMD’s core values: Accountability, Collaboration, Excellence, Integrity, and Care.

Compensation & Structure:

  • Contract Role: Starting as a 1099 contractor.
  • Future Conversion: Planned transition to full-time W2 in 2026.
  • Compensation: $140,000 (commensurate with experience).
  • Benefits: Planned upon full-time conversion.

Equal Opportunity Statement:

EllieMD is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to fostering an inclusive environment for all employees. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, identities, and levels of experience.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

An "Armed forces service medal veteran" means a veteran who, while serving on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service, participated in a United States military operation for which an Armed Forces service medal was awarded pursuant to Executive Order 12985.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
