Office Assistant (Part Time)

Job Title: Office Assistant
Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite, Monday – Friday)
Compensation: $20-$22 per hour; Part-Time (25-30 hours per week)
Hours: 8am-2pm

Responsibilities

Office Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workplace.
  • Maintain office supplies, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate office maintenance.
  • Support a positive office culture by planning and coordinating employee events, meetings, and team-building activities.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for office visitors, deliveries, and facilities-related needs.
  • Manage relationships with building management and ensure compliance with workplace safety protocols.
  • Office housekeeping: order supplies, MAIL, ensure efficiencies in new hire, stationed at the front desk, empty dishwasher, keep kitchen clean and well stocked, welcome vendors at the front area. Manage the boardrooms and all common spaces.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, and company-wide events.
  • Provide general administrative support as needed to enhance company operations.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in office management, or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced technology or startup environment.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and calendar management tools.
  • Experience coordinating events, managing vendors, and supporting facilities operations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
