Senior Director, Media Solutions & Strategy
We’re hiring a Senior Director, Media Solutions & Strategy to join our corporate new business sales team at EMARKETER.

The Role & Team:
As Senior Director, Media Solutions & Strategy, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and building relationships with prospective advertisers across adtech, martech, and key service and solution providers within the marketing and advertising landscape. This is a high-impact role focused on selling media solutions to clients who are looking to reach EMARKETER's engaged audience of marketing professionals.
In this role, you will work closely with prospective clients to understand their needs and customize media solutions that elevate their brand, target their ideal customers, and achieve their business goals. The ideal candidate will excel at developing strategic relationships with executives and decision-makers, delivering meaningful insights, and positioning EMARKETER’s unique value proposition.
This role reports directly to the SVP, Media and works closely with peers to achieve goals.
This is a hybrid role working from our HQ in New York at One Liberty Plaza two times a week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets by selling customized media solutions.
- Research and engage companies across Adtech, Martech, and other service providers, actively prospecting and building a qualified pipeline through multi-channel outreach.
- Apply EMARKETER’s consultative sales philosophy to identify client needs, present tailored media solutions, and facilitate meaningful client engagements.
- Engage mid to senior-level executives in marketing, advertising, consumer insights, and strategy, understanding their challenges and connecting those to EMARKETER’s media offerings.
- Maintain up-to-date records in Salesforce, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting to the sales leadership team.
- Take ownership of the sales process from prospecting and relationship-building through discovery calls, solution presentations, negotiations, closing deals, and growing client relationships.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated success in business development or sales within media, advertising, or a related field.
- Ability to engage with and sell to senior-level marketing and advertising professionals.
- Strong knowledge of digital advertising trends, particularly within Adtech and Martech.
- Experience in a consultative selling environment.
- A proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to independently manage and execute a sales process.
Salary & Benefits:
- Base salary: $100,000-$110,000 (dependent on skills, experience, and competencies)
