We are hiring a Data Analyst, Ad Buyer Insights to join our Strategy and Operations team at EMARKETER.
The Role and Team:
We’re hiring a Data Analyst to join our Insights team at EMARKETER, focused on delivering high quality quantitative analysis of ad buyer survey data. This role is execution driven and centers on producing statistically sound analysis, clean outputs, and ready to use visualizations that power our insights products. You will work closely with insights leaders and partners to ensure data is accurate, well documented, and delivered efficiently.
This is a hybrid role based out of our New York City office, with regular in office expectations.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future. Candidates must be within commuting distance of our New York City office. Relocation assistance is not available.
The Ideal Candidate is:

- Technically strong: You bring deep hands on experience with survey data, cross tabulations, and statistical testing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute statistical analysis of ad buyer survey data using SPSS with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Perform cross tabulation analysis and statistical testing to examine relationships and trends in survey data.
- Produce clean, accurate charts and tables that are ready for immediate use in insights and presentations.
- Build clear, well organized PowerPoint decks with professional data visualizations.
- Ensure data quality, appropriate weighting when applicable, and statistical validity throughout all analyses.
- Manage multiple analysis projects simultaneously while meeting delivery timelines.
- Maintain clear documentation of analysis methods, assumptions, and outputs.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience using SPSS for survey data analysis and statistical testing.
- Strong background in quantitative analysis, cross tabulation, and data quality checks.
- Proven ability to produce publication ready charts, tables, and visual outputs.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint for building clear and professional data presentations.
- Experience working with survey or market research data, ideally within advertising, media, or related industries.
- Familiarity with survey methodology, confidence intervals, and significance testing.
- Working knowledge of Excel for data manipulation and validation.
- Exposure to additional visualization tools such as Tableau or Datawrapper is a plus.
Salary & Benefits:
- Base salary: $100,000-$120,000 (dependent on skills, experience, and competencies)
