About The Team

The North American Sales organization at Ivanti are building teams that understand the increasing complexity and sophisticated threats our enterprise customers face daily. Our mission is to adapt and anticipate the disparate needs of the modern workforce to automate the tasks that discover, manage, secure, and service all IT assets.

 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Collaborate with sales representatives to create tailored UEM and Security solutions that address customer operational challenges.
  • Lead pre-sales discovery meetings, providing in-depth technical demonstrations and engaging Proof of Value sessions for prospects and existing customers.
  • Translate customer needs into effective technical solutions, ensuring alignment with Ivanti's UEM value proposition.
  • Act as a technical expert through all stages of the sales process, facilitating seamless communication between sales teams and clients.
  • Build and nurture relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to foster a positive experience and customer loyalty.
  • Stay updated on UEM and Security market trends to effectively position Ivanti's solutions against competitors.
  • Participate in marketing events and conferences, serving as a subject matter expert and advocate for Ivanti's products.
  • Mentor junior sales engineers and sales specialists to enhance the overall technical acumen and effectiveness of the sales team.

 

To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have

  • 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Software sales, preferably in SaaS or related high-tech fields.
  • Proven pre-sales expertise with Unified Endpoint Management (UEM), security, and IT management tools.
  • Strong ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, including C-suite executives.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a talent for engaging presentations.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and delivering successful outcomes.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel (10-30%) to meet with customers and prospects, as needed.

 

Roadmap for Success

  • First 90 Days:
    • Onboard and complete all required training programs related to Ivanti’s Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) and Security solutions.
    • Establish relationships with designated Territory Managers and key stakeholders within the sales and technical teams.
    • Gain a deep understanding of Ivanti’s product offerings, competitive positioning, and market differentiators in the UEM space.
    • Participate in at least 5 interactive pre-sales discovery meetings to observe and absorb the sales process and customer engagement strategies.
    • Assist in delivering platform demos and Proof of Value engagements to identify customer pain points and present tailored solutions.
  • First 6 Months:
    • Take full ownership of at least 3 major prospects, leading the technical engagement and solution development process.
    • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify shifts and trends in the UEM security landscape, providing insights to the sales strategy.
    • Present technical product offerings at a minimum of 2 internal or external marketing events or conferences.
    • Develop case studies and customer success stories from engagements, contributing to the sales materials and knowledge base.
    • Schedule regular feedback sessions with Territory Managers and other sales personnel to refine strategies and address challenges.
  • First 12 Months:
    • Achieve defined sales targets and quotas for the UEM solutions and contribute to overall team revenue goals.
    • Mentor new Sales Engineers and help onboard additional team members as needed.
    • Establish a reputation as a trusted advisor within the customer base and among industry peers.
    • Continuously enhance technical knowledge through ongoing training and attendance at workshops, webinars, or relevant industry certifications.
    • Conduct a comprehensive review of territories, customer feedback, and individual performance, and prepare a strategic plan for the next year.
