Why We Need You!

We are looking for a Corporate Development and Partnerships Analyst to play a key role in shaping Ivanti’s growth strategy. This position offers the opportunity to combine strategic analysis, business development, and cross-functional collaboration to drive both inorganic growth through acquisitions and organic growth through strategic partnerships. You will contribute to pivotal initiatives that help Ivanti realize its global mission to thrive in the Everywhere Work environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across both Corporate Development (M&A, financial modeling, market opportunity analysis) and Partnerships (strategic alliances, new market and product opportunities) in a highly dynamic technology landscape.

About The Team

What You Will Be Doing

Corporate Development:

  • Support the end-to-end M&A deal lifecycle, including target evaluation, financial modeling, due diligence, negotiation, deal execution, and integration planning.
  • Maintain and regularly update M&A pipeline to ensure visibility and strategic alignment across the organization.
  • Develop financial business cases, valuation models, and strategic analyses to support acquisition decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, HR, Finance, Engineering) and external partners (investment bankers, VCs, startups) to execute inorganic growth strategies.
  • Conduct industry and competitive research to help identify strategic acquisition opportunities and implications for Ivanti.
  • Monitor integration processes and track synergy realization post-acquisition.

Partnerships:

  • Work with business leaders to identify, establish, and cultivate strategic partnerships that enhance Ivanti’s market position, expand the product roadmap, or create go-to-market opportunities.
  • Regularly analyze partnership performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain and regularly update partnership pipeline tracking to ensure visibility and strategic alignment across the organization.
  • Develop specific business plans and go-to-market strategies for partnerships and alliances to deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Perform market research and analysis to identify new opportunities for differentiation and revenue generation through partnerships.
  • Establish pricing, positioning, and marketing strategies to maximize the value of partnerships.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (sales, engineering, marketing) to ensure partnership success.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand our partnership ecosystem.

You will drive consensus for action across teams through clear communication and collaboration with senior executives, cross-functional leaders, and external stakeholders

To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have

  • 2–5 years of experience in corporate development,investment banking (Analyst/Associate), private equity, venture capital, or strategic business development or partnerships , with a focus on technology or SaaS industries.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with experience developing business cases, conducting valuations, and presenting insights to senior executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive M&A or partnership processes through all lifecycle stages, including opportunity identification, due diligence, negotiation, and integration planning.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure partnership and M&A goals are achieved.
  • A deep understanding of building and nurturing strategic alliances that align with corporate objectives, delivering tangible business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders, build relationships, and present recommendations clearly and concisely.
  • A passion for technology and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities can shift and evolve.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

Roadmap for Success

First 90 Days:

  • Complete onboarding and gain a strong understanding of Ivanti's business, strategic objectives, and competitive landscape.
  • Provide actionable insights from market or target research that feed directly into decision-making processes.
  • Build relationships and establish credibility with cross-functional teams (Legal, HR, Finance, Engineering, Sales, Marketing) and key external partnerships (investment bankers, VCs, startups).
  • Begin supporting ongoing initiatives through financial modeling, target evaluation, or partnership opportunity analysis.

First 6 Months:

  • Lead tasks related to M&A or partnerships, including developing financial models or collaborating on new partnership launch
  • Facilitate the development of strategic partnerships to enhance business capabilities.
  • Enhance tracking and reporting on key metrics that measure the success of M&A and partnerships.
  • Generate strategic insights to aid decision-making and influence organic and inorganic strategy.

First 12 Months:

  • Take ownership of key deals and strategic partnerships with measurable outcomes.
  • Drive tangible business impact through effective execution of M&A strategies.
  • Position yourself as a thought leader within the organization, sharing insights and best practices.
  • Influence strategic direction and operational excellence across departments and projects.
