Why We Need You!
Ivanti is seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Staff Software Engineer to develop Cloud Connector capabilities for customers worldwide. This role is based in our Bengaluru, India office and requires close collaboration with a cross-functional team in the US.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing critical modules while working in a global, Agile environment. They should have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external teams to build industry-leading systems management software solutions.

By combining market insights, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration, the Engineering organization ensures every product release meets evolving user needs and competitive demands. This team is instrumental in developing Ivanti's purpose-built platform for CIOs and CISOs powered by Ivanti Neurons - a cloud-scale, hyperautomation layer that enables proactive healing, user-friendly security across the organization and provides an enhanced user experience. This department plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's growth trajectory through continuous innovation and customer-centric solutions.
What You Will Be Doing
- Feature Development: Design, develop, and maintain features for Ivanti’s Cloud Connector customer base as part of a dynamic product development team.
- Technical Leadership: Act as a team lead, collaborating with business stakeholders to understand priorities, propose architectures, and review designs with the architecture team for finalization. Guide and mentor team members on design and implementation.
- Full Development Lifecycle: Take ownership of coding, validating, debugging, performance analysis, and ensuring reliability. Maintain and support the ongoing operational aspects of the product in an Agile development environment.
- Quality & Testing: Deliver high-quality code to production in every release cycle, ensuring robust unit and integration testing through a suite of automated tests.
To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
- Experience:
- 8–11 years of software development experience with REST interfaces.
- 2+ years of Cloud Development experience (Microservices Architecture, DevOps & CI/CD Pipelines).
- 1+ years of Event-Driven Architecture experience (Redis Streams, Apache Kafka).
- 1+ years of Angular development experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Programming Languages: Java, Angular.
- Platforms/Runtimes: Kubernetes, Docker.
- Technologies: Java, Spring Framework, Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure Portal.
- Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) for tracking work items, bugs, and test cases.
- Strong focus on unit testing & automation testing.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Self-motivated problem solver with a passion for learning and helping others.
- Quick adaptability to new technologies.
