Why We Need You

We are seeking a Senior Professional Services Consultant to join our talented Professional Services team. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to Ivanti’s customers, providing expertise, leadership, and hands-on support for the successful implementation, optimization, and operational use of Ivanti Service Manager (ISM) and related solutions. This is a key position where you will contribute directly to helping customers maximize the value of Ivanti products, enabling them to thrive in the Everywhere Work landscape.

As part of your responsibilities, you will lead workshops, perform requirements analyses, design scalable solutions, implement deployments, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver knowledge transfer to customers. Your advanced technical skills and deep understanding of IT Service Management will set you apart and position you to succeed in this critical role.


What You Will Be Doing

Analysis & Design

  • Lead workshops to perform detailed requirements analysis, information gathering, and technical baselines to write or review Statements of Work (SOW) and requirements documents.
  • Assist in defining and validating the scope of work and technical assumptions for SOWs.
  • Create scalable, high-quality solution designs based on customer needs, environments, and current best practices.

Build & Deploy

  • Perform consultation, implementation, testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer for customer engagements.
  • Lead pilot and production rollouts for Ivanti Service Manager (ISM) implementations.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze complex technical problems with Ivanti and peripheral technologies, recommending effective solutions.

Operate & Optimize

  • Conduct customer handover sessions and orientation workshops for knowledge transfer.
  • Perform health assessments of customer implementations and provide recommendations to optimize performance.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies, Ivanti product updates, and industry trends, supporting certifications and professional growth.

Other Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Ivanti Professional Services to meet organizational goals and deliver customer excellence.
  • Maintain expertise in Ivanti Service Manager (ISM) solutions and professional service offerings.
  • Document best practices for developing and deploying ISM solutions and contribute to Ivanti’s knowledge base.
  • Provide regular updates to project and account teams about ongoing engagements.

To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have

  • A minimum of 10 years of Ivanti Service Management experience, with 5+ years in a customer-facing professional services consultant role.
  • Proven expertise in infrastructure architecture and the design of complex Service Management solutions.
  • Advanced Windows systems administration skills and familiarity with Service Management concepts, processes, and standards.
  • Understanding of modern IT operations, including virtualization and cloud platforms.
  • Practical knowledge of IIS server platforms and supporting technologies like Load Balancing, DNS, and Firewalls.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages including JavaScript, Powershell, with Python as a plus.
  • Strong integration experience with tools and systems like JIRA and REST APIs.
  • SQL Server knowledge preferred, and familiarity with other Service Management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Cherwell) is advantageous.
  • Completed ITIL certification or equivalent is beneficial.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.

Travel Requirement

This position may require 25–75% travel based on customer and project needs.
