Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Specialist is a strategic and creative contributor to AFR’s marketing team, supporting initiatives across both the AFR Wholesale and eLEND brands. This position is responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns, managing complex projects, and ensuring brand consistency across all channels and platforms. 

In addition to day-to-day responsibilities, the Marketing Specialist will play a key role in supporting and tracking progress for AFR’s rebrand initiative—coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners to monitor timelines, ensure deliverables are met, and regularly report updates to the Director of Marketing. 

This position requires a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

Compensation

70-85K 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing to support and execute brand, product, and campaign strategies. 
  • Serve as a key point of contact for cross-functional marketing projects and initiatives, providing project management support from concept through execution. 
  • Own timelines, asset delivery, and communication flow for the AFR rebrand initiative, ensuring projects stay on track and stakeholders remain informed. 
  • Develop marketing content for both wholesale and consumer-facing audiences, including emails, flyers, presentations, landing pages, newsletters, and social posts. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product, operations) and external vendors to support campaigns, lead generation efforts, and company-wide initiatives. 
  • Help strategize and manage trade show and event marketing, including promotional materials, signage, and follow-up campaigns. 
  • Assist in the creation and execution of automated email campaigns and workflows  
  • Support the marketing coordinator by reviewing and refining content, managing high-priority deliverables, and stepping in as a lead when needed. 
  • Ensure all creative work and content aligns with AFR’s branding guidelines and visual standards. 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

  • Strong writing, editing, and content creation abilities. 
  • Proven experience managing marketing projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines. 
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically. 
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms (Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, etc.). 
  • Solid understanding of brand management and visual storytelling. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. 
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at once with a strong attention to detail. 

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in marketing, preferably in financial services, real estate, or a regulated industry. 

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS 

Travel is required 2-5% of the time for conferences or on-site event support.
