I acknowledge that I am applying for employment by Airbnb Information Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (the “Company”), and I hereby consent to the Company collecting, processing and using my personal information for the following purposes: 

• To contact and communicate with me in connection with my application; •
• To discuss and evaluate my application;
• To conduct any background checks or similar activities; and
• To conduct, or to comply with any lawful order or request made in connection with, any investigation or proceeding, or to otherwise deal with any grievance, by, against or otherwise involving me. 

I also consent to the Company and its affiliated entities:

• In conjunction with the above, disclosing or transferring any part or all of my personal information to any of its affiliated entities and/or to any of the Company’s or its affiliated entities’ vendors or service providers, and to transfer or store the same to or in any part of the world;
• Retaining any or all of my personal information for such period as it may determine to be appropriate, including for audit or compliance purposes anywhere in the world;
• Disclosing and using any or all of my personal information where reasonably required for purposes of evaluating my application; and
• Permitting or authorizing of any of its affiliated entities to do any of the things that the Company is permitted to do under this document. 

In this document, “my personal information” includes but is not limited to my name; address; gender, ID number or passport number; birth date; photograph(s); contact information such as telephone number(s), email address(es) and residential address; educational, professional and employment history, records, certifications and information; information on memberships in organizations or political groups; health and disability information; bank account and other payment information; criminal records, if any; performance information and other information you provided to us.

I understand and acknowledge that during my interview process with Airbnb, that Airbnb may disclose certain Airbnb Confidential Information (as defined below) to me. I agree to maintain such Confidential Information as provided in Section below.

I will: (a) hold Airbnb’s Confidential Information in strict confidence, which means that I won’t disclose it to any individual or third party for any reason without Airbnb’s written agreement; (b) use Airbnb Confidential Information only for purposes of the interview process (or during subsequent employment by Airbnb, pursuant to the terms of my employment-related confidentiality agreement); and (c) not modify, reverse engineer, decompile, create other works from, or disassemble any such Confidential Information. I agree that I will handle Airbnb Confidential Information with an appropriate degree of care, which means that, in addition to meeting the above obligations, I will not copy or transmit Airbnb Confidential Information, and that I will keep it in a secure location, whether in digital or physical format.

“Confidential Information” means all technical and non- technical information being disclosed by Airbnb to You before, during or following the interview process (including but not limited to compensation information (to the broadest extent permitted by applicable law), product information, plans and pricing, financials, marketing plans, business strategies, customer information, data, research and development, software and hardware, APIs, specifications, designs, proprietary formulae and proprietary algorithms), either directly or indirectly, in writing, orally or by inspection of tangible objects, whether or not such information is marked as "Confidential," "Proprietary," or some similar designation. Confidential Information shall also include the existence and terms of this Agreement and the fact that discussions have taken, are taking, or may take place about Your prospective employment or other business relationship.

I consent to the collection, use and disclosure of personal data relating to my gender by Airbnb in order for Airbnb to measure its efforts to create a diverse workplace. I understand that it is entirely voluntary for me to provide this information, and declining to provide Airbnb with consent to collect this information will not subject me to adverse treatment. I further understand that all individuals seeking employment or secondment at Airbnb are considered based on individual merit, without regard to such information; that this data will not be shared with any personnel who can influence the hiring process; and that I am being given the opportunity to provide such information in order to help Airbnb measure Airbnb's own diversity and inclusion efforts.
