What you’ll do

We are looking for a motivated Business Intelligence expert to join the global Business Intelligence Center (BIC) team to support our Performance & Technology practices. The BIC Team provides insight and analysis through research, market and competitor intelligence, pitch support, prospect identification and account management for our industries, communities, and geographies. Our mission is to partner with our consultants in delivering insights and analysis to support in winning new business and delivering memorable results.

The Business Intelligence Manager is a full-time role located in Dallas, Texas, Chicago, Illinois or New York, New York and reports to a Business Intelligence Director or Business Intelligence Manager.  Paid relocation is not available for this position. 

  • Provide research and pitch support to the Performance and Technology service line.
  • Support consultant teams in identifying new business opportunities and developing compelling, insight-driven client presentations.
  • Analyze competitor and market intelligence across the technology practices; derive insights and produce reports and presentations of findings, benchmarks, and insights.
  • Partner closely with service line and BIC Leadership to identify the most pressing research needs.
  • Lead the creation of insights into leading technologies across industries.
  • Embrace and deploy AI solutions to automate business development workflows, enhance strategic decision-making, and optimize commercial outcomes
  • Stay updated on emerging AI techniques and their applications in cyber, cloud, and cutting-edge tech transformation.
  • Build expertise with AI platforms, research institutions, and tech partners to accelerate solution development and pilot programs.

What you’ll need 

  • Five (5) to Seven (7) years of professional experience with demonstrated performance in roles focused on machine learning and advanced analytics.
  • Undergraduate degree with a concentration in data science, statistics, finance, econometrics or a related field. Masters Preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML platforms or tools such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, Azure ML, Vertex AI, or similar. Experience with AI model training and evaluation.
  • Track record of collaborating cross-functionally with consulting teams, technologists, and knowledge management or analytics groups.
  • Proven familiarity with cloud technologies, digital product development, modernization trends—ideally within a commercial or advisory context.
  • Experience supporting the development of client-ready materials, including market overviews, maturity assessments, investment theses, and research plans.
  • Serve as a bridge between technical teams and business units, identifying opportunities for AI implementation and training teams to leverage AI tools effectively.
  • Understanding of ethical AI principles, including bias mitigation, data privacy, and responsible use frameworks.
  • Ability to find creative and practical solutions with a desire to innovate and improve status quo for betterment of the team.
  • Experience working with confidential or time-sensitive information and applying judgment in ambiguous situations using sound judgment, common sense, and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to modify and run Python or SQL scripts to clean, analyze, and visualize datasets; comfort integrating data from APIs, web scraping tools, and cloud services.
  • Commitment to success of team with the ability to collaborate and engage with colleagues at all levels to accomplish goals.
  • Comfort managing multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while assuring the quality and timely completion and delivery of projects, including prioritizing projects during peak activity times.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; other languages a plus.
  • Willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours, and as unique projects/needs arise.
  • Ability to in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.

Employees will also receive a generous paid leave policy including vacation/personal time starting at 7.34 hours per pay period, sick time up to 80 hours annually, parental leave, and twelve holidays.  

The hourly range for this role takes into account a number of factors and is between $130,00/annually. - $145,000/annually with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
