Platforms Senior Product Manager

United States

At AlixPartners, we solve the most complex and critical challenges by moving quickly from analysis to action when it really matters; creating value that has a lasting impact on companies, their people, and the communities they serve. By understanding, respecting, and honoring the needs of our employees, clients, and communities, AlixPartners actively promotes an inclusive environment. We strongly believe in the value that diversity brings to our experiences and are committed to the perpetual enhancements of initiatives, policies, and practices. We hold ourselves accountable by providing the space for authenticity, growth, and equity for everyone.

AlixPartners has embraced a hybrid work model to provide flexibility and support our employees’ work-life integration.  Our hybrid model combines a mix of in-person (at client site or AlixPartners office) and remote working. Travel is part of this position, but the frequency may vary based on client, team, and individual circumstances.

About the Role

We are hiring a Product Manager to lead the replatforming of a suite of proprietary tools that power differentiated eDiscovery client delivery — spanning insight generation from large-scale data sets and mobile data review. This role will own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for rebuilding these tools on modern architecture while preserving and extending the integrations our users depend on with platforms like Relativity and Reveal.

This is a high-impact, foundational role. You will be instrumental in the setup of a dedicated product team, making architectural and UX decisions that define these products for years to come, and delivering early wins that build credibility and momentum with internal stakeholders and end users.

Beyond the initial replatforming, you will continue to own and grow the product suite as it expands. Working in close partnership with AlixPartners' eDiscovery practice, you will identify opportunities to productize innovative solutions to the challenges practitioners face as the eDiscovery industry rapidly evolves — from new data types and sources to shifting regulatory landscapes and review methodologies. The replatforming is the foundation; building what comes next is the longer-term opportunity.

About the Team

This role sits within the Platforms and Partnerships group at AlixPartners. You will join a cohort of experienced product managers who are leveraging cutting-edge tools across all stages of the product development lifecycle — from discovery and design through delivery and iteration. As part of this group, you will not only build products but also help evangelize product development best practices and demonstrate the value of a modern product discipline within a Risk Advisory practice that spans eDiscovery, digital forensics, and beyond.

This is a rare opportunity to bring product thinking into a world-class advisory firm, shaping how technology is built and adopted in a practice area that is increasingly technology-driven.

What You'll Do

  • Own the product roadmap for a suite of eDiscovery tools, including an analytics platform that generates insights from email and mobile data and a conversation threading and review tool used by document reviewers.

  • Drive the replatforming of the analytics tool from a desktop application to a modern web-based platform, including the addition of mobile data ingestion from Cellebrite alongside existing Reveal RDM email pipelines.

  • Lead the evolution of the review tool from a platform-hosted experience to a standalone application that integrates with Relativity via API, with a path toward supporting additional review platforms.

  • Define integration architecture and data flow between the product suite and third-party eDiscovery platforms (Relativity,

  • Reveal, Cellebrite), partnering closely with engineering.

  • Collaborate with eDiscovery and digital forensics practitioners to deeply understand review workflows, pain points, and opportunities - translating practitioner needs into product requirements.

  • Identify and scope new product opportunities as the practice encounters new challenges, data types, and workflow needs, growing the suite beyond its initial products.

  • Sequence and scope work to balance quick wins (e.g., performance improvements, UI upgrades) with longer-term platform investments.

  • Build, lead, and grow a cross-functional product team, establishing rituals, backlog practices, and a cadence of delivery.

  • Contribute to the broader Platforms and Partnerships group by sharing learnings, advocating for product development best practices, and helping demonstrate the impact of product-led approaches within the firm.

What you’ll need - Required

  • 4+ years of product management experience in B2B software, with at least some time spent on tools used in legal technology, eDiscovery, or adjacent compliance/investigations workflows.

  • Direct experience building or managing products that integrate with Relativity: you understand its data model, review workflows, and the constraints and opportunities of building within and alongside the platform.

  • Experience owning a standalone product (not just a feature within a larger platform) through at least one major build or rebuild cycle, including infrastructure, deployment, and UX decisions.

  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with engineering on integration architecture - you don't need to write code, but you need to hold your own in conversations about APIs, data pipelines, and system design.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly the ability to manage

  • expectations during a long-horizon replatforming effort while delivering incremental value.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset - comfort with ambiguity, ability to identify product opportunities from practitioner pain points, and the drive to build something new rather than optimize something mature.

  • Willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours, and in particular as unique projects/needs arise.

  • Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday

  • Must become familiar with, and promote and abide by, our Core Values as defined by the AlixPartners’ Code of Conduct and foster an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience with Reveal (formerly Brainspace) or its data ingestion/processing platform (RDM).

  • Familiarity with mobile data extraction tools, particularly Cellebrite, and an understanding of the unique challenges of mobile data (varied formats, conversation threading, metadata complexity).

  • Experience working in or alongside an eDiscovery managed services or consulting practice (as opposed to a pure software company) - you understand that the end users are reviewers and practitioners with specific workflow needs.

  • Experience with technical debt reduction or platform migration initiatives - you know how to keep the lights on while rebuilding the plane.

  • Track record of growing a product's scope over time - expanding from an initial deliverable into a broader suite or platform.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with analytics or insight-generation tools (NLP, clustering, entity extraction, or similar) applied to unstructured data.

  • Experience building multi-tenant web applications or transitioning desktop applications to cloud-hosted models.

  • Background in or exposure to data processing pipelines for litigation or investigations.

  • Experience introducing or evangelizing product management practices in an organization that is new to formal product development.

Why This Role

  • You'll have the autonomy to shape products from the architectural level up - this isn't incremental feature work.

  • You'll work at the intersection of cutting-edge data challenges (mobile forensics, large-scale document review) and practical tooling that practitioners rely on daily.

  • You'll build a team and a platform, not just a product - with a clear path to growing the suite as the practice evolves.

  • You'll be part of a product management cohort at AlixPartners that is defining how product development works within a leading global advisory firm, with access to modern tools and methodologies across the full product lifecycle.

  • You'll get to bridge two worlds - the rigor and domain expertise of a top-tier consulting practice and the speed and craft of modern product development.

The firm offers a comprehensive benefits program including health, vision, dental, disability, 401K, tuition reimbursement, identity theft protection, and mental wellness support. Employees will also receive a generous paid leave policy.

The salary range for this role takes into account a number of factors and is between $180,000/year - $400,000/year with potential eligibility for annual discretionary bonus.

This job post will remain open until July 31, 2026.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
