The Role

Amperity’s Growth Marketing team is looking for an experienced and experienced Lifecycle Marketer to lead our email marketing strategy and campaign execution. You will manage the entire lifecycle marketing funnel - from reaching new prospects, to nurturing and engaging the database, converting in-pipeline opportunities, and accelerating growth through customer retention efforts. You will report to the Sr. Director; Growth Marketing.

Interesting Problems

  • Lead the development and programmatic execution of company-wide lifecycle campaigns and newsletters, including building email templates and automated workflows within Marketo, such as targeted segmentation, list building, and A/B testing.
  • Build a customer journey roadmap aimed to reach and engage new prospects, educate and nurture in funnel accounts, build awareness and progress pipeline.
  • Monitor important lifecycle metrics to improve campaigns, promote observations and make data-driven recommendations to improve performance.
  • Partner with customer marketing to improve the onboarding process and ensure customers and freemium users are engaged from the start, improving activation, adoption, retention and reducing churn.
  • Implement nurture campaigns that move contact records through the marketing funnel, engage with accounts looking to educate and decide on a solution, and quickly convert hand raisers for the sales organization.
  • Collaborate with product marketing and content and design teams to ensure go-to-market messaging, campaign assets, CTAs and channels have a narrative and guide a delightful customer experience through email channels.

About You

  • Email Expert: At least 5 years proven experience in lifecycle or email marketing, while autonomously building programs and managing campaign workflow tactics.
  • Automation: 2+ years of hands-on experience working inside a CRM and marketing automation platform (Marketo or simiar, such as Eloqa, Pardot, Hubspot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) to build campaign lists, audience segmentation, create templates, manage campaign member statuses, program sequence workflows.
  • Data-First: Use data analysis to discover and promote relevant insights.
  • Editor & Copywriter: Excellent written skills, with experience editing and reviewing content, and contributing to campaign briefs, guides, and campaign launch decks.
  • Project Management: Work towards multiple timelines simultaneously with a willingness to be hands-on with keen attention to detail.
  • Dynamic: Bring a holistic approach to customer acquisition and engagement and are comfortable presenting to senior management regular and ad-hoc campaign reporting by platform, channel, and user journey metrics.

Our hybrid work model includes three days in the office each week, providing a mix of in-person collaboration and remote flexibility

Compensation


Base Salary:  $85,000 - $120,000. Within our pay range, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training. 

Cash Incentives: Cash incentives are also available.

Stock Options:  The opportunity for ownership is an exciting part of Amperity’s total compensation package. Every employee at Amperity receives a new-hire equity grant, commensurate with the scope of their position.
