Operations Enablement Specialist

Amwins Connect (benefits division, part of Amwins) is seeking an Operations Enablement Specialist to join.  This individual will collaborate across all areas to ensure a positive customer experience that leads to increased sales, company growth, and promotes greater allegiance within the broader broker community. In this role, the Operations Enablement Specialist owns the management of successfully identifying gaps, managing implementation projects and transition of teams into the overall Amwins Connect business. 

Hybrid role (2 days in-office) in a city where there is an Amwins office. California is preferred.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all objectives are met within the specified timeframe.
  • Conduct research to identify and understand regional requirements relevant to the business needs.
  • Evaluate current technology and workflow processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans - outlining tasks, timelines, and milestones.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, allocate resources effectively, and ensure clear communication channels.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics.
  • Facilitate the smooth transition of completed projects back into the business operations.
  • Assess and ensure the readiness for high-volume scenarios, making necessary adjustments for scalability.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including project plans, reports, and status updates.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in relevant areas to provide expertise and guidance.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of proven experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives for effective business operations with a general agency or carrier.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Availability and willingness to travel as required for project-related activities.
  • University degree preferred.

 

Pursuant to California regulation, the compensation range for this position is as stated and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses. 

California Pay Range

$94,000 - $119,000 USD

Amwins discloses your personal information for business purposes to its service providers and vendors who perform business and human resource functions and services on our behalf, including running pre-employment background checks.  Amwins only shares your personal information with its service providers to the extent necessary in order to fulfill the purposes of human resource administration as identified in this Privacy Notice or as required by law.  

Amwins may also disclose your personal information to government authorities or agencies when required or permitted to by local, state, or federal law.  Amwins may also disclose your information for other legal reasons when permitted, including to protect our legal rights, and where necessary to protect the vital interests of any person.
