Software Developer Intern - Trading & Trade Operations Applications
This one-year Software Developer Internship provides an opportunity to develop technology and client service skills at a world class investment management firm. Key areas of technical focus will include application support and development, business analysis, requirements definition and project coordination. As a Software Developer Intern on the Trading and Trade Operations Application team, your responsibilities will be diverse and commensurate with demonstrated proficiency and experience. This year-round internship requires full-time in office hours during the summer of 2025 and 15-20 hours per week in the 2025-26 school year.
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Responsibilities
The candidate can expect to:
- Assist with development of custom-built applications
- Support and help troubleshoot current application codebases
- Support, schedule, and monitor batch and real-time processes
- Additional responsibilities and projects will be assigned with demonstrated proficiency
Qualifications
The successful candidate is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in a technical field with demonstrated academic achievement. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess:
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- High level of energy and enthusiasm
- A results driven mentality
- Familiarity with some of the following technologies:
- Object oriented languages such as Java or C#. Spring Framework knowledge a plus
- Microsoft SSMS, SSRS, SQL
- Batch scripting languages such as PowerShell
- Web technologies: Javascript/Frameworks, ReactJS, HTML5, among others
- Collaboration software like Slack, Confluence, among others
