About the Role:
We’re looking for a strategic, data-informed Product Designer to join our Growth team and help create world-class experiences that drive measurable impact. In this role, you’ll design and optimize how users discover, sign up for, and onboard into our product—helping shape awareness and adoption of new and existing features. You’ll be a key contributor to shaping our design culture and process from the ground up, while solving big, meaningful design challenges. Your work will directly influence how people experience Aura from their first interaction, and you’ll collaborate closely with a high-performing, cross-functional team across Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Analytics.
Day to Day:
Design and iterate on end-to-end user experiences that drive acquisition, activation, conversion and adoption across web and mobile platforms
-
Own the onboarding design strategy to help new users quickly understand, engage with, and realize value from the product
-
Design experiences that extend beyond the product, including organic tools and moments that build excitement and connection pre-signup
-
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—Growth PMs, engineers, marketers, and analysts—to concept and launch experiments and A/B tests
-
Use a mix of qualitative and quantitative data (analytics, usability testing, customer feedback) to inform and validate design decisions
-
Communicate your design rationale effectively through storytelling, both in writing and presentations, to align stakeholders
-
Create and deliver user flows, journey maps, wireframes, UI designs, and prototypes throughout the full product lifecycle
-
Apply persuasive design techniques and UX best practices grounded in behavioral psychology to reduce friction and increase engagement
-
Develop and maintain high-fidelity assets and specs for implementation, contributing to a consistent design system
-
Champion a user-centered mindset, balancing business goals with deep empathy for user needs throughout every design decision
What you bring to the table:
-
3–5 years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or interaction design, preferably with a focus on growth or onboarding
-
Strong portfolio showcasing DTC user-centered, data-informed design work that has driven measurable outcomes
-
Proven ability to design for user acquisition, activation, and conversion flows across web and mobile platforms
-
Experience working on A/B testing, experimentation, or rapid iteration cycles in collaboration with cross-functional growth teams
-
Comfortable interpreting user data (quantitative and qualitative) and using insights to inform design decisions
-
Strong communication and storytelling skills; able to clearly present and explain your design thinking to a range of stakeholders
-
Experience working with or contributing to a design system to ensure consistency across product surfaces
-
Ability to balance user needs with business goals and think holistically across the entire user journey
-
Skilled in using design and prototyping tools such as Figma, FigJam, or similar
-
Fluency in the latest product design trends, tools and technology across platforms
