About the Role

We are looking for a data-driven, hands-on Marketing Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role will be responsible for executing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns, managing website performance and traffic growth, supporting corporate marketing initiatives, and helping build Avathon's brand as the category leader in Physical AI.

The ideal candidate combines creativity with analytical rigor and understands how to leverage digital channels, content, SEO, paid media, and marketing automation to drive measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Digital Marketing & Demand Generation

  • Plan, execute, and optimize integrated digital marketing campaigns across paid search, LinkedIn, display advertising, retargeting, email marketing, and organic channels.
  • Develop and manage lead generation programs that support pipeline creation and sales growth.
  • Monitor campaign performance and continuously optimize based on engagement, conversion, and ROI metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and business development teams to align marketing programs with strategic growth objectives.
  • Own Avathon's corporate website strategy, content updates, performance optimization, and user experience.
  • Own the Marketing Automation Platform (Hubspot) and the connection, processes, and performance measurement with CRM (Salesforce).
  • Drive website traffic growth through SEO, content marketing, technical optimization, and digital campaigns.
  • Monitor and improve key website KPIs including traffic, engagement, conversion rates, and lead generation.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies to maintain a best-in-class digital presence.
  • Support corporate marketing initiatives including product launches, customer announcements, industry campaigns, executive thought leadership, and strategic messaging.
  • Assist with the development of marketing collateral, presentations, case studies, white papers, and customer success stories.
  • Help manage Avathon's participation in industry conferences, webinars, and corporate events.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and communications.
  • Build and maintain marketing dashboards to track campaign performance, website analytics, lead generation, and funnel conversion.
  • Analyze customer behavior and campaign effectiveness to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to executive leadership.
  • Manage and grow Avathon's digital presence across LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
  • Coordinate content distribution strategies to maximize engagement and reach.
  • Support executive social media programs and thought leadership initiatives.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B technology marketing, preferably in AI, SaaS, enterprise software, industrial technology, or high-growth technology companies.
  • Proven experience managing digital marketing campaigns and website optimization initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, marketing automation, lead generation, and web analytics.
  • Experience with platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo and other marketing automation tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience using AI assistants (e.g. Claude) to augment marketing content creation, productivity, and performance analysis. 
  • Proven cross-functional leadership skills across departments and up and down the organization. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience marketing AI, machine learning, industrial technology, supply chain, manufacturing, energy, mining, or enterprise software solutions.
  • Familiarity with content marketing, account-based marketing (ABM), and demand generation best practices.
  • Experience supporting executive branding and thought leadership programs.
  • Knowledge of website platforms such as WordPress.

Location: Candidates must be based in the Bay Area.

Salary: 

The base salary range for this role is between $115,000 to $150,000 annually. 

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
