Job Description: Brand & Marketing Leader

About the Role

We are looking for a strategic, data-driven, and hands-on experienced marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. In this role, you will be the ultimate custodian of Avathon’s brand identity and the strategic architect behind how our products go to market. You will own product marketing, end-to-end product launches, and Go-To-Market (GTM) execution, while shaping a brand strategy designed to capture mindshare and accelerate inbound demand generation. The ideal candidate combines creative storytelling with analytical rigor, understanding how to position complex enterprise Physical AI solutions into compelling, high-converting market narratives.

Core Responsibilities

Product Marketing & GTM Strategy

  • Own the GTM Playbook: Develop, execute, and iterate on comprehensive Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies for new products, features, and vertical solutions in the Physical AI space.
  • Product Launches: Lead cross-functional readiness teams (Product, Sales, Customer Success) to orchestrate high-impact product launches that drive immediate pipeline velocity.
  • Positioning & Messaging: Define value propositions, buyer personas, and differentiated messaging frameworks that clearly articulate Avathon’s competitive advantage.
  • Sales Enablement: Translate technical capabilities into commercial assets. Create core collateral including pitch decks, product data sheets, white papers, case studies, and competitive battle cards to empower the sales team.

Brand Development & Strategy

  • Brand Ownership: Define and champion Avathon’s corporate brand strategy, ensuring narrative consistency across all audience touchpoints globally.
  • Category Leadership: Position Avathon as the definitive category leader in Physical AI through executive thought leadership campaigns, strategic PR, and industry-shaping narratives.
  • Content & Thought Leadership: Oversee a high-caliber content strategy (blogs, research reports, webinars, social) that addresses the core pain points of our target enterprise buyers.

Inbound Demand Generation & Digital Presence

  • Inbound Engine Optimization: Align brand and product positioning with digital campaigns (SEO, SEM, LinkedIn) to build an inbound engine that pulls qualified prospects into the funnel.
  • Strategic Web Experience: Direct Avathon’s corporate website strategy, transforming it from an informational site into a high-converting, story-driven engine for inbound leads.
  • Campaign Collaboration: Partner with growth marketing to ensure integrated campaigns across paid media, email, and events are messaging-aligned to maximize conversion and ROI metrics.

Analytics & Leadership

  • Performance Tracking: Build and maintain dashboards to monitor brand sentiment, launch success metrics, and inbound funnel conversions, translating data into actionable GTM iterations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Provide regular performance and strategic updates to executive leadership.
  • Agency Management: Source and manage external creative, PR, or content agencies to amplify execution capacity without sacrificing quality.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 8-10+ years of B2B technology marketing experience—ideally with a heavy emphasis on Product Marketing or Brand Strategy within Enterprise SaaS, AI, Deep Tech, or Heavy Industrial Technology sectors.
  • Proven experience successfully bringing complex technical products to market from ideation through to commercial launch.
  • Exceptional ability to synthesize complex, deep-tech architectures into clear, compelling business benefits for C-suite and technical buyers alike.
  • Comfortable with modern marketing ecosystems including HubSpot (Marketing Automation), Salesforce (CRM), Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and ZoomInfo.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging advanced AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to optimize content creation workflows, speed up research, and augment productivity.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience marketing AI, machine learning, industrial technology, supply chain, manufacturing, energy, mining, or enterprise software solutions.
  • Familiarity with content marketing, account-based marketing (ABM), and demand generation best practices.
  • Experience supporting executive branding and thought leadership programs.
  • Knowledge of website platforms such as WordPress.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
