Inside Sales Representative

SUMMARY:

An ideal Inside Sales I will be relentless in their pursuit of qualifying new prospective clients as well as engaging and servicing suppliers. This individual will demonstrate high energy and passion in every phone call. We are looking for self-starters who are resourceful and have demonstrated a high degree of discipline in their academic and professional pursuits. If residing within a commutable distance to one of our offices, a hybrid schedule would be required (three days in the office, two days working from home).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate and qualify new sales opportunities through outbound calling campaigns, and email.
  • Identify and qualify decision makers amongst the targeted call campaigns.
  • Emphasize product benefits and features to validate sales-ready opportunities.
  • Capture accurate and complete records of all prospect and customer interactions in Salesforce.
  • Maintain and expand the database of prospects in the Avetta CRM.
  • Use Salesforce to track all activity including recording names, contact information, actions that are taken, and reactions of prospects and customers contacted.
  • Attend sales group meetings concerning sales targets or forecasts.
  • Maintain responsibility for a targeted number of suppliers.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & TRAINING:

  • Experience with inside sales, tele-prospecting, or cold calling preferred.
  • Candidate must display high energy, high passion level, determination, and perseverance.
  • Candidate must display comfort level by working with and committing to personal and organizational goals.
  • Professional phone presence and excellent communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong Decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skills.
  • Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities.
  • CRM (Salesforce.com) experience preferred.
  • Successful candidates will demonstrate regular and predictive attendance as a fundamental aspect of their commitment to the role and our team.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  • 1-3 years of sales experience in a Software/Cloud Company.
