We pride ourselves on fostering a dynamic, fast-paced work environment and are seeking an experienced Director of Enterprise Sales to oversee and elevate our enterprise sales function. In this role, you will lead a team of Enterprise Sales Managers, each responsible for managing their own teams of Enterprise Account Executives. You will play a key role in driving strategy, developing leadership talent, and ensuring consistent revenue growth across the enterprise segment.

What You Will Do:

  • Enterprise Sales Leadership:
    Lead and oversee a team of Enterprise Sales Managers, fostering a high-performance culture. Ensure that each manager effectively drives performance and develops their teams of Enterprise Account Executives.
  • Strategic Sales Planning:
    Develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise sales strategy that aligns with Awardco’s growth goals. Identify and pursue opportunities to expand our footprint in organizations with 7,500+ employees.
  • Leadership Development:
    Mentor and coach Enterprise Sales Managers to enhance their leadership capabilities and ensure they can effectively manage and inspire their teams. Support career development initiatives within the enterprise sales organization.
  • Revenue Growth:
    Own and achieve revenue targets for the enterprise segment through collaboration with Sales Managers. Monitor performance metrics, identify growth opportunities, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Client Engagement:
    Oversee strategic relationships with enterprise clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term value. Support Sales Managers and Account Executives in navigating complex sales cycles and negotiating high-value, multi-year deals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Act as a liaison between enterprise sales and internal teams such as Product, Marketing, and Customer Success. Provide strategic input to tailor solutions, address client needs, and refine Awardco’s go-to-market approach.
  • Market Insights:
    Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities in the HR tech space. Share insights with your team and executive leadership to drive continuous improvement.
  • Operational Excellence:
    Establish and refine processes for forecasting, pipeline management, and sales operations. Leverage analytics tools to ensure accurate reporting and data-driven decision-making across the enterprise sales organization.

What You Will Bring:

  • Experience & Expertise:
    • Minimum of 10+ years in enterprise sales, with a proven track record of driving significant revenue growth in complex sales environments.
    • At least 5+ years in a leadership role, managing and developing sales leaders (e.g., managers or directors) in high-growth, enterprise-focused organizations.
  • Sales Acumen:
    • Expertise in managing multi-million-dollar deals and navigating complex sales cycles.
    • Deep understanding of enterprise sales methodologies, including consultative and value-based selling approaches.
  • Leadership Excellence:
    • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing sales leaders.
    • Strong track record of fostering collaboration, building trust, and inspiring teams to exceed targets.
  • Strategic Thinking:
    • Ability to develop and implement long-term sales strategies while managing immediate priorities and results.
    • Experience in identifying market trends and leveraging them to drive growth.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Exceptional ability to build and nurture relationships with senior-level stakeholders, both internally and externally.
    • A trusted advisor who can effectively articulate value and influence decision-making at all organizational levels.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
    • Familiarity with HR tech or employee recognition platforms is a plus.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
    • MBA or advanced certifications in sales leadership are preferred.
