The Asset Group manages over 1,200 integrations at Axonius, enabling us to maintain a strong competitive advantage in the market. Our team develops and maintains highly scalable infrastructures, ensuring seamless data normalization and processing, which is crucial for building efficient systems and delivering valuable insights.
As a backend engineer, you'll operate with a WIN (Whatever It Needs) and end-to-end (E2E) responsibility mindset, focusing on building robust, high-performance systems. You'll quickly decipher complex technical challenges, research and develop solutions, and deploy them at scale. Your work will drive technical success, contributing to a customer-driven product that meets client needs, secures deals, and ensures long-term success.

 What your day will look like:

  • You will be working in high volume of data and large scale, in production environment 
  • Be a problem-solver, providing out-of-the-box solutions to unique problems using top innovative technology
  • Own feature development from definition level throughout the actual usage on customer environments
  • Researching solutions, developing, and deploying quick features/ customizations to obtain the tech WIN!
  • In a nutshell, you will be the technical ace that helps us close the deal 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer, with deep infrastructure understanding
  • Fast learning ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Familiar with at least one of the following communication method REST, SOAP, GraphQL, LDAP, SNMP
  • Familiar with at least one of the following Database technologies SQL, MongoDB
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication
  • Be located within the NYC Metro area with the ability to work from the NYC office 2x a month

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years in Python
  • Significant coding experience, including design and code review, or experience with infrastructure coding
  • Experience with Linux environments
  • Experience with multi-process architectures and relevant operating systems System calls (Fork, exec)
  • Experience in the cybersecurity industry
  • Experience working with customers worldwide
  • Extensive experience with a variety of technologies (such as Docker, MongoDB, cloud environments)

Axonius is committed to fair and equitable compensation packages. A candidate’s salary will be based on qualifications and relevant experience. In addition to a competitive salary, our packages include stock options, attractive benefits, and an annual bonus.

Annual Salary Range (does not include bonus or equity)

$156,000 - $170,000 USD
