Beamer + Userflow: Building the All-in-One Toolkit for Product Success

Welcome to Beamer and Userflow, two innovative teams united by a shared mission: to empower product-led growth (PLG) companies. We're on the lookout for talented individuals who are passionate about transforming the way product teams work and thrive. If you're driven by creating exceptional software and equipping teams with powerful, no-code tools, then you're in the right place. Join us in our journey to revolutionize user engagement and product growth.

About Us:

At Beamer, we're transforming how product teams connect with their customers. Our platform empowers product leaders and marketers to build solutions their users genuinely love, making us the go-to choice for product marketing teams worldwide.

With our acquisition of Userflow and investment and partnership with Camber Partners, a San Francisco-based firm known for scaling product-led growth companies, we're expanding into Product Onboarding and Analytics, strengthening our position in the Product Management ecosystem.

We’re profitable, growing, and backed by investors behind success stories like Dropbox, Solarwinds, and Datadog. As an early-stage company, we offer something unique: the stability of proven success combined with boundless opportunities to make an impact. If you're strategically minded and eager to build something meaningful from the ground up, you'll find your place at Beamer.

About the Role:

As a QA Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our SaaS product offerings. You will work closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to design and execute test cases, identify defects, and ensure that our solutions meet both functional, user experience, and non-functional requirements. Your efforts will help improve the end-user experience. Your contributions are going to directly impact delivery of top-tier solutions.

What You'll Do:

  • Test Planning & Execution
    • Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features and product updates.
    • Perform manual testing of web applications and mobile platforms to identify defects and ensure optimal performance.
  • Automation Testing
    • Contribute to automation testing efforts by creating and maintaining automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
  • Collaboration
    • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and quality expectations.
    • Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and other agile ceremonies.
  • Bug Identification & Reporting
    • Identify, log, and track defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and ensure proper resolution.
    • Work with developers to troubleshoot, reproduce, and verify bugs.
    • Work closely with support teams to identify and communicate issues.
  • Regression & Performance Testing
    • Perform regression testing to ensure new releases do not negatively impact existing functionality.
    • Conduct performance testing to ensure the scalability and reliability of the SaaS product.
  • Documentation
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation on test procedures, test cases, and test results.
    • Contribute to the creation and improvement of QA processes and best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in QA testing, particularly for SaaS products.
    • Provide feedback and suggestions for enhancing the product’s functionality and usability.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with minimum 4 years of experience.
  • Proven experience as a QA Analyst, Software Tester, or in a similar QA role, ideally in a SaaS or cloud-based environment.

  • Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, or similar).
  • Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar automation tools.

What You'll Get
