Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

  • BILL is looking for a Senior Customer Marketing Manager to lead customer marketing programs for accountant firms and SMB/MM customers. This role will help customers learn, adopt, engage with, and grow through BILL’s products and services.
  • This is a highly cross-functional role with a particularly close partnership with Product Marketing. You’ll translate product strategy and launch priorities into compelling customer programs while aligning with Product, Community, Marketing Operations, Analytics, Creative, Sales, and Events.

Responsibilities:

  • Product launches and customer education: Lead Customer Marketing strategy for Tier 1 product launches, monthly product showcases, and related education programs. Partner with Product Marketing on positioning, messaging, audience strategy, promotion, and measurement. Expand product showcases to Direct SMB/MM customers while continuing to serve the accountant firm audience.
  • Webinar and virtual programs: Develop strategy for webinars and virtual lunch-and-learns that support education, retention, adoption, and cross-sell. Own audience targeting, programming, promotion, follow-up, and measurement. Serve as the Customer Marketing team’s webinar strategy and logistics expert.
  • Customer event strategy: Develop the strategy for in-person customer experiences, including audiences, objectives, formats, programming, promotion, and success measures. Provide Events with clear briefs, audience plans, and promotional support; the Events team owns live execution and logistics.
  • Community and communications: Partner with Community on customer engagement, education, advocacy, and feedback. Develop and coordinate communications across email, in-product, web, webinars, community, and other channels.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Align stakeholders, manage dependencies, establish clear operating rhythms, and ensure the customer perspective is represented in planning and decision-making.

We'd love to chat if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in customer marketing, lifecycle marketing, growth marketing, integrated marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Experience leading product launches, customer education programs, webinars, or customer events from strategy through measurement.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships with Product Marketing and other senior cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, including defining KPIs, evaluating performance, and turning insights into action.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and align partners.
  • Experience with marketing automation, customer communication, or webinar platforms (Inflection, Pendo, Goldcast, SFDC)
  • Customer-first mindset, strong attention to detail, and a bias toward ownership.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B, SaaS, fintech, payments, or product-led growth. Bonus: experience with Accountant firms.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed below. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits. The estimated salary  ranges noted below roles in the specific  geographic zones

Zone 1: San Francisco Bay Area CA (includes HQ), New York City, Seattle, Los Angeles County

$135,300 - $169,200 USD

Zone 2: CA (Non San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles County), Austin TX, Massachusetts

$121,800 - $152,300 USD

Zone 3: Utah (includes Utah office), Dallas TX, Houston TX, Florida, North Carolina, Illinois, Colorado, Arizona, Georgia, Oregon, Pennsylvania

$115,100 - $143,900 USD
