About the Role:

A Billtrust Senior Sales Executive is a true new-logo hunter who identifies, qualifies, and closes new business. Focused on the upper Mid-Market and Enterprise prospects with net revenue between £250M and £5B across multiple verticals, you will manage complex sales cycles for our best-in-class SaaS invoice-to-cash products.

You will uncover cost-saving opportunities and demonstrate how our solutions transform and improve financial operations. Billtrust has enjoyed year-over-year growth for more than a decade, and as a Senior Sales Executive covering part of the UK market, you’ll have the opportunity to channel your ambition and drive to expand the footprint of our market-leading software and integrated payments solutions.

What You'll Do:

  • Create leads, build pipeline, and drive deal flow to close net-new business 
  • Work with cross-functional channels (Marketing, SDR, Alliances) to build and support pipeline in addition to self-generated opportunities. 
  • Collaborate closely with Solutions Consulting, Sales Operations and leadership to manage leads, forecast and progress deals 
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations (with support from cross-functional teams) that clearly convey our value proposition 
  • Provide actionable feedback to Product, Professional Services, and other teams to support ongoing process and product improvements 

What You'll Bring:

  • A growth mindset - no challenge feels too big 
  • Minimum 5+ years of full-cycle B2B tech sales experience 
  • Strong experience using MEDD(P)IC; familiarity with additional sales methodologies such as Challenger, Sandler, or Solution Selling strongly preferred 
  • SaaS experience: Domain expertise in AR/AP, ERP, or FinTech experience is preffered 
  • Ability to craft a point of view and build credibility as a trusted adviser 
  • Experience developing business cases and delivering ROI-focused value propositions 
  • Strong virtual and in-person presentation skills 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and advanced listening skills 
  • Ability to collaborate and strategize effectively with a broad, cross-functional team 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred - or equivalent work experience 
  • Fluency in English; based in or able to regularly travel to London 
  • Comfort with business travel: onsite customer visits, conferences and regularly meeting the team in London (typically once a week). 
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work effectively in a “work from anywhere” environment is crucial
