Overview

We are now hiring a Partner Marketing Manager to help support and scale our marketing execution and partner initiatives.

Bishop Fox is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help define how we connect our offensive security expertise to the organizations that need it to stay safe. For over 20 years, Bishop Fox has helped organizations see themselves the way an attacker does — and close the gaps before someone else finds them. But that expertise only creates impact when it reaches the right customers in a way they understand and trust.

You’ll shape how we tell that story: translating our services and technical capabilities into narratives, sales content, and customer proof points that help organizations cut through a crowded, noisy cybersecurity market and connect with the solutions built for the risks they face. Reporting to the Senior Product and Services Marketing Director, you’ll work closely with executive leadership, offerings management, sales enablement, Marketing colleagues, and subject matter experts to achieve these goals.

This role is for a marketer who’s as comfortable questioning a security expert as presenting to an executive — someone who digs into the technology, figures out what matters to each buyer, and turns it into clear, persuasive content without needing a fully formed brief.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Positioning & Storytelling

  • Shape messaging that positions Bishop Fox to stand out from the noise, communicates the value we deliver clearly and compellingly, and resonates with customers
  • Partner with executive leadership to understand the story they want to tell and shape it into clear, strategic narratives
  • Help build go-to-market plays that align Bishop Fox’s offerings to customer use cases, translating that segmentation into the messaging and content that reaches them
  • Support new offering launches and drive ongoing communication that keeps customers up to date on Bishop Fox’s evolving services and capabilities, including emerging areas like AI security
  • Collaborate with Sales to understand buyer personas, objections, and content needs across audiences

Bringing the Story to Life

  • Take everything from high-level concepts to complex subject matter and turn it into polished, customer-facing sales collateral, presentations, and interactive content
  • Support sales and partner enablement programs, helping equip AEs and partners with the positioning, messaging, and content they need to sell effectively
  • Manage projects from initial concept through review, feedback, design, and final delivery
  • Gather feedback on content performance to continuously sharpen materials

What Success Looks Like

  • Sales has high-quality customer-facing collateral that makes complex Bishop Fox services easier to understand and sell
  • Executive ideas can quickly move from whiteboard or conversation to polished, usable materials
  • Technical concepts are communicated accurately without unnecessary complexity
  • Content clearly articulates Bishop Fox’s differentiation and customer value, tailored to resonate with each key buyer persona
  • Sales and Marketing teams can rely on you to independently move content projects from initial idea to completion You develop enough knowledge of Bishop Fox’s services to confidently ask questions, challenge assumptions, and identify the story that needs to be told

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in product marketing, customer marketing, content marketing, or a related role in cybersecurity or tech
  • Track record of working directly with top executives and senior leadership
  • Demonstrated experience creating impactful customer-facing and enablement content, including presentations, solution briefs, and interactive content
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a knack for turning technical complexity into clear, persuasive messaging
  • Skilled at building alignment across senior leadership, marketing, offerings management, sales, channel, and technical SMEs
  • Strong learning agility, with comfort working from high-level direction and structuring ideas that are still taking shape
  • Excellent project management skills, with an adaptable style suited to a fast-moving environment
  • Familiarity with AI/LLMs, application security, offensive security, or other emerging tech (a plus, not required)
  • Ability to be on-site at our San Francisco office at least 2 days per week
  • A plus: having worked in management consulting or as a Chief of Staff
