We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Finance Business Partner to oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the GTM, Marketing function within a fast-paced SaaS environment. In this role, you will provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to support marketing investments, optimize spend, and drive customer acquisition and retention. Your work will empower cross-functional stakeholders and contribute to the company’s overall growth and success.

What you’ll do:

  • Marketing Expense Management: Own the budget, forecasting, and tracking of Marketing spend, ensuring alignment with company goals and ROI optimization
  • SaaS Marketing Metrics: Analyze key metrics such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Marketing Contribution to Pipeline, Lifetime Value (LTV), and ROI for marketing campaigns and programs
  • Performance Reporting: Create dashboards and reports to track marketing KPIs, including lead conversion rates, cost per lead, and campaign effectiveness, providing actionable insights to leadership
  • Strategic Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with Marketing leadership to evaluate the financial impact of campaigns, programs, and tools, ensuring strategic alignment with growth objectives
  • Scenario Analysis: Develop financial models to assess the impact of marketing initiatives, geographic expansions, or new customer segments on revenue growth and profitability
  • Customer Segmentation Analysis: Support Marketing teams with financial insights into customer segmentation, targeting strategies, and retention programs
  • Campaign Evaluation: Partner with Marketing to analyze the success of demand generation, brand awareness, and product marketing campaigns, recommending optimizations as needed
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance processes for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on Marketing spend and performance

The Experience you bring:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Experience: 10+ years of FP&A experience, with a focus on Marketing finance in SaaS or subscription-based businesses
  • Technical Skills: Advanced skills in Excel for financial modeling, as well as experience with tools like Adaptive Insights, Tableau, or Salesforce
  • Analytical Expertise: Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, customer acquisition strategies, and financial modeling for marketing investments
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to convey financial data and insights to non-finance stakeholders, including Marketing leadership

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with subscription-based metrics (e.g., CAC, LTV, MRR) and a deep understanding of marketing attribution models
  • Knowledge of marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot)

Compensation
Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

Base compensation for this position in Vancouver, B.C. ranges from 135,000-170,000 CAD annually + applicable bonus.
Base compensation for this position in the US ranges between $128,000 - $175,000 annually + applicable bonus.

The ranges provided do not include local medical, dental, vision, disability and retirement contributions. Final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
