Using Power BI and business systems expertise, you will develop dashboards, define performance metrics, track project readiness, and provide actionable insights for regional teams and leadership. You will also support governance activities, improve workflows, and help ensure that business tools accurately reflect field operations and support consistent, data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking to support commissioning progress, project readiness, quality metrics, open issues, and leadership reporting.

  • Gather stakeholder requirements and translate operational needs into documented business and system requirements, workflows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Manage requests for system and reporting enhancements, including intake, triage, prioritization, status tracking, and coordination with engineering and reporting teams.

  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), including test planning, scenario development, tester engagement, defect tracking, retesting, and release readiness.

  • Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across business systems and reporting outputs.

  • Identify and address data quality issues, including duplicate records, legacy data, inconsistent field usage, and taxonomy alignment, escalating structural issues when necessary.

  • Collaborate with commissioning, regional operations, construction quality, and engineering stakeholders to ensure system workflows support real-world business processes.

  • Support the tracking and reporting of commissioning activities, nonconformance reports (NCRs), audits, inspection and test plans (ITPs), requests for information (RFIs), turnover, and project closeout.

  • Prepare governance meetings, steering committee materials, stakeholder updates, and action trackers to support accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Develop user guidance, training materials, and communications to support feature releases, reporting changes, and consistent platform adoption.

  • Maintain and improve business rules, data structures, reporting definitions, and processes to support trusted analytics and scalable reporting.

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce manual reporting, and increase operational efficiency through better systems and analytics.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or a related field.

  • Strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.

  • Experience defining KPIs and metrics, validating data, and translating operational information into actionable business insights.

  • Experience gathering stakeholder requirements and translating business needs into documented system, process, or reporting requirements.

  • Experience with business systems, data quality management, workflow improvement, and reporting processes.

  • Ability to develop user stories, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and other documentation that supports system enhancements.

  • Experience coordinating or supporting user acceptance testing, including defect documentation, retesting, and release readiness.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating across teams and time zones.

  • Availability to support an assignment requiring approximately 12–18 months of continued tenure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting commissioning processes in data centers or other mission-critical infrastructure environments.

  • Understanding of how commissioning activities are planned, tracked, validated, and reported across multiple stakeholders.

  • Experience in industries such as advanced manufacturing, utilities, healthcare infrastructure, energy, or other complex engineering environments.

  • Familiarity with construction quality and commissioning workflows, including issues management, NCRs, audits, ITPs, test scripts, RFIs, turnover, and closeout.

  • Experience supporting enterprise business platforms and managing enhancement requests, system governance, and release processes.

  • Experience maintaining data taxonomies, business rules, database structures, or operational data standards.

  • Experience developing regional reporting, executive dashboards, project readiness views, and operational performance metrics.

  • Familiarity with stakeholder governance forums, steering committees, user champion networks, and change adoption initiatives.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
