Sales Director, Microsoft

Bellevue, WA

About Blueprint

Blueprint is a technology solutions firm headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, with teams across the United States. We help organizations turn complex challenges into meaningful outcomes by connecting strategy and execution across AI, cloud, data, product development, and emerging technology.

Our culture is built by people who care deeply about doing exceptional work. We set high standards, take ownership, and continually challenge ourselves and one another to be better. We work hard, support each other, and take genuine pride in what we deliver for our clients, partners, and teams.

At Blueprint, you’ll work alongside talented people with different experiences, expertise, and perspectives. You’ll have opportunities to take on meaningful challenges, expand your skills, and see the impact of what you build.

Bring your perspective. Raise the standard. Build what matters.

About the Role

We're looking for a Sales Director to lead Blueprint's commercial relationship with Microsoft. This is a senior, hands-on growth role for someone who understands how to build durable relationships inside a complex global account, translate business and technology priorities into qualified opportunities, and mobilize the right Blueprint leaders to win and expand the work.

You will own the Microsoft account strategy across the relevant organizations, buying groups, and partner channels. The role extends beyond relationship management: you will create a clear growth plan, develop executive sponsorship, navigate Microsoft's procurement and vendor environment, maintain an accurate opportunity portfolio, and stay engaged from early discovery through contracting, delivery transition, and account expansion.

Success will require credibility with Microsoft stakeholders and close partnership across Blueprint's sales, solution, delivery, recruiting, finance, legal, and executive teams. You should be comfortable creating structure where it is needed, asking hard questions about deal quality, and taking personal ownership for moving opportunities forward.

What You'll Own

  • Build and execute a multi-year Microsoft account plan that identifies priority organizations, executive relationships, whitespace, active pursuits, and near- and long-term revenue opportunities.
  • Develop trusted relationships with Microsoft business, engineering, procurement, vendor management, and partner stakeholders, while expanding Blueprint's reach beyond existing contacts and programs.
  • Translate Microsoft's changing priorities into relevant Blueprint opportunities across data and AI, cloud and infrastructure, product development, customer support, managed services, and specialized talent solutions.
  • Create a disciplined rhythm for account reviews, stakeholder mapping, opportunity strategy, executive sponsorship, and follow-through.
  • Lead discovery and qualification, including business outcomes, buyer alignment, scope, timing, competitive position, delivery feasibility, and commercial path.
  • Coordinate the right Blueprint solution, delivery, recruiting, and executive leaders for each pursuit; clarify ownership and keep decisions and deliverables moving.
  • Shape proposals, statements of work, pricing strategies, renewals, and expansion plans in partnership with delivery, finance, legal, and operations.
  • Navigate Microsoft's contracting, procurement, supplier, and compliance processes and anticipate barriers before they delay a pursuit or launch.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline stages, next steps, probability, timing, and forecast; provide leadership with a candid view of account health and risk.
  • Stay connected after the sale, partnering with delivery leaders to protect customer outcomes, address concerns, identify expansion opportunities, and strengthen long-term account value.
  • Represent Blueprint in executive meetings, planning sessions, partner events, and other Microsoft-facing forums.

What Success Looks Like

  • Blueprint has a current, actionable Microsoft account plan supported by clear relationship ownership and executive sponsorship.
  • The qualified pipeline grows across multiple Microsoft organizations and is not dependent on one relationship, program, or service line.
  • Forecasts are credible because opportunities are well qualified, documented, and actively managed.
  • Pursuits move faster because internal teams understand the customer need, commercial path, decision process, and their role in winning.
  • New work launches with strong alignment between what was sold, what was contracted, and what delivery is prepared to execute.
  • Existing Microsoft work expands through strong delivery partnership, intentional relationship development, and measurable customer value.

What You'll Bring

  • Six or more years of enterprise technology, consulting, professional services, managed services, or strategic account sales experience, including significant ownership of a large and complex account.
  • Demonstrated success growing revenue within Microsoft or a comparable global technology company with decentralized buyers and complex procurement processes.
  • A strong network and the ability to build new relationships across executive, business, technical, procurement, and operational stakeholders.
  • Experience selling outcome-based technology services rather than relying only on staff augmentation or transactional placements.
  • Strong opportunity qualification, account planning, commercial judgment, negotiation, and forecasting skills.
  • Ability to understand technical and delivery concepts well enough to connect customer needs to Blueprint capabilities and bring in specialists at the right time.
  • A record of working effectively with delivery, solution architecture, recruiting, finance, legal, and executive teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Clear executive communication, strong business writing, and the ability to turn complex pursuits into focused decisions and next steps.
  • High ownership, sound judgment, persistence, and comfort operating in a fast-moving environment with limited hand-holding.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience with Microsoft supplier, procurement, contracting, partner, or vendor-management processes.
  • Experience with enterprise data and AI, Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, cloud infrastructure, product engineering, or customer-support solutions.
  • Experience selling both project-based services and recurring or managed offerings.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics or a comparable CRM and disciplined use of account and pipeline data.

Compensation

At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive compensation that reflects the value our team members bring to the business. The base salary range for this role is $145,000 to $160,000 USD annually, with a midpoint of $152,500. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation tied to closed business. Actual starting compensation will depend on the candidate's skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.

Location and Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid role based in Bellevue, Washington, with an expectation of working from the office at least two days per week. Additional in-office attendance may be required based on business needs.

Benefits

Blueprint believes that healthy, supported employees do their best work. Eligible employees have access to a comprehensive benefits package that may include:

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Competitive paid time off
  • Parental leave
  • Professional growth and development opportunities

Benefits and eligibility may vary based on role, employment status, and location.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
