About the Role & Team
The Future Capabilities team pushes the boundaries of what can be measured and delivered. This ranges from building enhanced imagery products such as colorized subaperture imagery, formulating the mission requirements for InSAR and CCD collections and prototyping the processing and collaborating with customers to ensure the data meets their needs, to developing new missions, systems, and collection modalities to meet customer needs.
In this role you will be expanding the value of Capella imagery using repeat pass InSAR techniques. You will have the opportunity to build out world scalable InSAR. At Capella you’ll work with people with a wide range of expertise from engineers developing and maintaining the image processing, engineers designing and building satellites, engineers managing the automated operations, to team members from customer engagement working with our customers daily. Your work will support the latest offerings to solve customer needs for security, science, and beyond.
Role Responsibility
- Supervising InSAR data collection and processing
- Performing quality analysis of InSAR Data
- Performing SAR imagery quality checks
- Algorithms design and definition for InSAR related products
- Technical support of customers
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of signal processing experience
- Proficient in Python, git and Linux
- Proficiency with AWS development and operations
- Proficiency with SQL databases
- Excellent and proactive communication
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent combination of technical education and work experience related to InSAR.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with project management tools like JIRA & Confluence
- Experience with GIS Systems and/or geospatial data products and standards
- Proficiency with GPU programming
