Role Overview

The Integrated Marketing and Communication Associate will support the Sr. Director of Brand Marketing and Head of External Communications across integrated brand campaigns, content creation, and brand communication in the US, CA, and UK.

What You'll Do

Campaign Development & Project Management

  • Work with the Brand Marketing Manager to concept and develop integrated marketing campaigns, brand partnerships, and grassroots marketing initiatives
  • Manage project plans for integrated campaigns and initiatives across US, CA, and UK — tracking timelines, deliverables, and approvals from brief to launch.
  • Draft creative briefs for the UK and CA, ensuring audience, objectives, and success metrics are clearly captured. This person must ensure localized briefs stay true to CarGurus' brand platform, voice, and visual identity while incorporating localized insights and goals.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for international stakeholders across revenue and product marketing teams, ensuring localized needs and nuances are incorporated into our strategy and planning.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for performance marketing, product marketing, analytics, PR, and sales — covering project status and administration duties (archiving assets, handling day-of activation logistics, overseeing procurement).

Communication Support

  • Manage internal brand calendar to plan and track all internal and external brand communication
  • Draft internal and external content related to brand campaign promotion, including press releases, social content and internal communication,  translating campaign messaging and strategy into clear, on-brand copy.
  • Incorporate feedback from PR and Brand Marketing stakeholders through revisions to finalize release-ready copy.
  • Partner with PR agencies on brand campaign communications strategy, providing campaign briefs and target KPIs, making sure results tie back to campaign goals
  • Support brand reputation monitoring and flag relevant coverage or social media conversations

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build regular performance reporting on campaigns, content, and sponsorships — pulling data from tools like Google Analytics and Sprout Social — and translate it into executive-ready summaries for leadership.
  • Track budgets and invoices across creative production and sponsorship programs

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in brand marketing or a creative or PR agency, ideally in a consumer-facing, digital-first environment.
  • Creative thinker with a finger on the pulse of what's relevant in culture, living and breathing social trends and content
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to track multiple workstreams and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with early experience drafting external-facing copy (e.g., press releases, brand messaging, social content).
  • Clear, proactive communication style — able to keep stakeholders and leadership informed without needing heavy oversight.
  • Eagerness to learn brand strategy fundamentals and grow into a larger strategic role over time.
