The Role

Sr. SDRs at Ceros are high-performing outbound sellers who blend grit, creativity, and AI-powered tools to build pipeline at scale. Having mastered the core skills of the Outbound SDR role, you are now ready to operate at the intersection of human strategy and machine efficiency.

Functionally, you are given full autonomy to drive opportunities within your pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting. While you will spend a significant portion of your day on high-value human tasks like strategic cold calling, you will be supported by a tech stack that automates repetitive tasks. You will be responsible for managing AI agents - helping to build, test, and refine their outputs - while sharing fresh insights to help the team evolve. You aren't just using ChatGPT to "fix your grammar"; you are a curious architect of AI workflows, comfortable oscillating between 5-6 different AI-driven platforms to amplify your output.

Success in this role means exceeding targets through a blend of grit and technological sophistication. Your role will work closely with New Business Directors to help them close and win business on a set of industry-specific target accounts. While you are responsible for the top of funnel pipeline sourcing, your NBD will focus on running calls and closing deals.

This role is designed for those who have ambition to progress into Sales, Customer Success, or Strategic Accounts within 12-24 months by demonstrating they can lead in the new era of AI-integrated sales. This is a fully outbound SDR role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Generation & Acceleration: Build and maintain a pipeline of Outbound qualified leads, achieving quotas by leveraging AI for high-velocity prospecting.
  • Cold Calling: Responsible for spending 3-4 hours a day prospecting via cold calling to source meetings for your New Business Director.
  • AI Orchestration: You will manage multiple vendor-forward and homegrown AI tools, moving seamlessly between platforms to optimize your workflow.
  • Agent Management: Take ownership of AI agents. You will be responsible for the creativity behind their deployment, monitoring their performance, and auditing their output to ensure brand alignment.
  • Strategic Outreach: Generate qualified Outbound meetings for our new business pod through sophisticated, high-touch phone, LinkedIn, and email outreach.
  • CRM Cleanliness and Tooling Upkeep: Manage the hand-off to sales executives and maintain pristine data integrity within our Hubspot CRM.

Practical Stuff We Anticipate You Having

  • 1-3 years of Outbound SDR/Sales experience with a proven track record of hitting targets.
  • The ability to spend 3+ hours a day on the phone. Because AI handles your admin (list building, research, and data entry), your calling time must be high-energy and high-impact.
  • A strong curiosity about how AI is shaping modern sales. You’re comfortable leveraging the AI capabilities within tools beyond ChatGPT and Gemini, like Common Room, Amplemarket, Clay, or similar platforms, and you’re eager to experiment with new AI tools that streamline your process and make your workflows more efficient.
  • Ability to write strategic emails and converse professionally with C-suite and VP-level executives.
  • A willingness to work with others across the sales team and a desire to help build the future of the Ceros sales engine.
  • A "start-up soul" that thrives in a changing environment with an ever-evolving AI-forward product.

Note: This is not a traditional “data entry” SDR role. We’re looking for someone who is deeply curious about AI tooling and excited about how automation can elevate and empower the sales process. If you’re energized by high-volume prospecting and leveraging innovative technology to work smarter and drive impact, you’ll thrive in this role.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
