What You Will Be Doing 

This position will serve as the systems "owner" and technical subject matter expert for the ChargePoint HRIS systems. This role is crucial as it optimizes the use of UKG and Greenhouse, as well as new systems to be implemented, across our entire organization. The responsibilities include ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and proper use of information within the system. The position also entails reporting, system integration, security administration, configuration, testing, UX and business process design. 

The individual in this role will report to the Sr. Manager of IT and act as an SME with the HR, Payroll, and IT teams to offer support for technology and reporting needs. They will also facilitate change management and system adoption, and draft end-user documentation and training whenever necessary. An important part of this role is developing, maintaining, and producing management and statistical reports.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage, maintain, and optimize the ChargePoint UKG Pro HRIS system across all modules. 
  • Learn, Perform daily operations of HR systems, encompassing configuration, testing, reporting, and the maintenance of employee profiles, pay rules, and accrual profiles. 
  • Proactively create, maintain, and analyze comprehensive reports and dashboards within UKG and other tools to monitor key HR metrics, uncover trends, and deliver actionable insights that enhance business outcomes. 
  • Generate ad-hoc reports and conduct data analysis to offer insights into trends, employee performance, turnover rates, compensation, and other critical functions. 
  • Develop and maintain UKG integration with other applications to help streamline data flow and enhance the ChargePoint technology ecosystem. 
  • Deliver expert-level support to HR staff and end-users on the effective utilization of the UKG Pro system, imparting your knowledge and best practices 
  • Oversee and audit UKG data and processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations 
  • Train HR and other staff to use the HRIS efficiently. Offer continuous support and resolve any user queries or issues. 
  • Create HR business processes with a deep understanding of their impact on Payroll systems. Design Payroll systems automation workflows and deliver crucial insights into HR data and metrics. 
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and optimize the HRIS system for improved performance and user experience. Implement new features and functionalities as required. 
  • Collaborate with the Identity and Access Management team to optimize the onboarding and off-boarding processes. This involves ensuring seamless access provisioning and de-provisioning, enhancing security, and improving overall efficiency. 
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure the UKG system is fully aligned with our business objectives and to identify opportunities for ongoing improvement. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • 8+ years of experience working with HRIS systems, specifically UKG. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in UKG Pro and UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) platforms. 
  • Extensive experience in system implementations, upgrade projects, and process optimization. 
  • Deep understanding of HR processes, data structures, and business metrics in areas like HR, talent management, payroll, learning, compensation, onboarding, budgeting, and performance management. 
  • Strong knowledge of HR data privacy laws, including HIPAA and others. 
  • Extensive experience with interface and networking technologies, data warehousing, design, relational database technologies, and performance tuning. 
  • Extensive knowledge of Greenhouse and its relationship with UKG and other applications. 
  • Proficient in working with Web Services and APIs, including Web Services Description Language (WSDL), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), Representational State Transfer (REST), and various Web Services (WS) standards. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and provide clear, concise reporting to various stakeholders. 
  • Knowledge of Okta or other IAM and user provisioning tools. 
  • Advanced certifications in HRIS systems or related fields.
