What You Will Be Doing

As Regional Account Manager, you will work with leading logistics companies, fleet operators, and public transport providers to deploy scalable EV charging solutions for trucks, vans, and buses across the UK and Ireland.

The commercial vehicle sector is rapidly transitioning from pilot projects to large-scale electrification programs. In this role, you will help customers design and implement integrated depot charging ecosystems that combine software platforms, charging infrastructure, and smart energy management.

You will lead strategic, solution-driven sales engagements, supporting customers through complex fleet electrification initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, technical integrations, and long-term infrastructure planning.

The UK and Ireland represent a high-growth strategic market for ChargePoint, and you will have significant autonomy to expand our presence, build long-term customer partnerships, and deliver impactful electrification projects

Sales & Business Development

  • Lead a software-first consultative sales approach while owning full commercial responsibility for ChargePoint’s depot charging portfolio, including software platforms, chargers, infrastructure components, and service offerings (consulting, extended warranties, and premium support).
  • Develop new business and grow existing accounts through on-site meetings, proactive prospecting, digital engagement, webinars, and industry events.
  • Build trusted relationships with fleet operators across logistics, public transport, and commercial vehicle sectors.
  • Understand customer needs across fleet operations, depot design, energy management, telematics, and digital workflows.
  • Manage complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, long timelines, and structured procurement processes.
  • Support customers through large-scale depot electrification projects involving multi-charger installations, energy optimization strategies, and long-term software platform adoption.

Partner & Ecosystem Development

  • Engage and enable regional ecosystem partners including vehicle OEMs, infrastructure integrators, installers, engineering consultancies, and energy partners.
  • Develop joint opportunities with partners, coordinate bid strategies, and support partner-led deals with commercial and technical guidance.
  • Strengthen ChargePoint’s role within the broader fleet electrification ecosystem.

Solution Design & Technical Engagement

  • Work closely with Solution Engineering to design scalable and future-ready depot charging architectures, including charger selection, load balancing, smart energy management, and operational workflows.
  • Coordinate with internal and external engineering specialists to ensure technical feasibility and long-term scalability of customer solutions.
  • Collaborate with third-party software providers (such as telematics, fleet management, energy management, and depot automation platforms) to scope integrations that reduce operational costs and enable automation.

Tendering & Commercial Negotiation

  • Own the end-to-end tender process including commercial positioning, customer communication, proposal strategy, and final submission quality.
  • Collaborate closely with the Internal Tender Team for structured support on pricing, documentation, compliance, and technical inputs while remaining the single point of commercial ownership.
  • Lead commercial negotiations across software, hardware, services, and contracting models.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Solution Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Product Management, and Legal to ensure aligned messaging, accurate solution scoping, and successful deal execution.
  • Develop structured account plans and regional growth strategies covering customer relationships, partner engagement, and long-term expansion opportunities.
  • Maintain pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy, and opportunity management in Salesforce.
  • Work with Customer Success and Support teams to ensure successful deployments and long-term customer value.

Form CC-305

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
