Payments Infrastructure Product Manager

Remote - USA

Ready to do the most impactful work of your career? At Coinbase, we are uncompromising on our mission to increase economic freedom. The bar is high, the environment is intense, and we like it that way. This isn't a place for complacency, it’s a place to be pushed past your perceived limits. If you're ready to build the future of finance alongside people who refuse to settle for "good enough," you belong here. Coinbase is a remote-first, but not remote-only company. Expect to get together quarterly for intense in-person working sessions called “surges.” learn more about working at Coinbase.

The Coinbase Developer Platform (CDP) is building crypto infrastructure at scale for any business, anywhere. Payments Infrastructure is the layer that makes that volume possible: a unified, intent-based money movement layer across any asset, any rail, any geo. As the Payments Infrastructure PM, you will own the roadmap behind CDP's payments volume growth: instant funding rails, global fiat expansion, and a second revenue surface in payments financing.

What you'll do:

  • Own the Payments Infrastructure roadmap end to end: routing across fiat and crypto rails, payment methods, risk and compliance checks, ledgering and settlement, and the observability and ops tooling that keeps it running 24/7.
  • Ship the instant funding stack across rails, using risk-underwritten credit to deliver instant experiences where rails alone cannot.
  • Drive global expansion: payments in new countries and asset expansion beyond stablecoins.
  • Partner directly with enterprise customers and internal product teams to convert roadmap into live customers.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of product management experience on payments, money movement, or fintech infrastructure products at production scale.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in fiat payment rails, including a strong grasp of ledgering, and settlement mechanisms.
  • Experience shipping API-first products where developers are the customer, with the technical depth to earn engineering's trust on tradeoffs.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate across compliance, risk, and legal constraints and turn them into product surfaces rather than blockers.
