We are seeking a Sr. Director, Brand Content to be a strategic leader responsible for driving the creation, development, and production of world-class content that amplifies our brand, engages prospects, and enhances customer experience. As the Sr. Director of Brand Content, you will lead a cross-functional team responsible for driving the creation, development, and production of world-class content that amplifies our brand, engages prospects, and enhances customer experience. Your role will span from brand awareness and demand generation to customer success and retention. You will oversee the creation and production of all written content, video production, social media, design, customer experiences, and more, ensuring our messaging is innovative, consistent, and resonates deeply with our target audiences. This role requires someone who can seamlessly blend creativity with data-driven insights to develop a highly compelling brand voice and content strategy that speaks to the needs of our customers, while supporting key business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Content Leadership: 

  • Lead the end-to-end creation and management of all content for the company, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy, tone, and messaging across all formats, including written content, video, customer experience materials, social media, and design.

AI-Driven Innovation: 

  • Explore and implement innovative ways to leverage AI technology to expedite content creation, improve personalization, and scale content strategies across all channels. Drive the use of AI-powered tools and processes to optimize content workflows and enhance productivity.

Brand and Corporate Messaging: 

  • Partner with the executive team to develop,refine, and maintain a consistent corporate messaging framework, ensuring the company’s unique point of view (POV) is clearly articulated across all touchpoints.

Customer Engagement & Storytelling: 

  • Capture compelling customer stories, including video testimonials, written case studies, and event speaking engagements, to showcase the real-world impact of our AI technology.

Event Content Strategy: 

  • Work closely with the event team to develop content for keynotes, panel discussions, and customer experiences at high-profile industry events. 
  • Collaborate with the executive communications team to craft presentations that effectively communicate our vision and thought leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, sales, product, and customer success to ensure all content efforts are aligned with organizational goals and enhance the overall customer journey.

Agency and Vendor Management: 

  • Oversee relationships with external agencies and partners to develop high-quality, highly engaging content and execute content strategies. Manage creative partners to ensure brand consistency and excellence across all initiatives.

Innovative Leadership: 

  • Drive innovation in content creation by continuously exploring new formats, channels, and technologies to engage our target audiences. 
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, particularly in AI and technology, to ensure the company’s content is always at the cutting edge.

Team Development: 

  • Lead and inspire a team of content creators, writers, designers, and video producers, ensuring their growth, performance, and alignment with the company’s content goals. 
  • Foster a collaborative and creative environment that encourages excellence and innovation.

About You

  • 15+ years proven experience in content leadership roles, with a strong portfolio of successful B2B content strategies, particularly in the tech or AI space.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute content strategies that align with brand, demand generation, and customer success goals.
  • Strong understanding of AI technology, its applications, and how to communicate its value in a clear and engaging way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience exploring and applying AI tools and technologies to improve and scale content production and delivery.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a proven track record of producing high-quality, impactful content across a variety of formats.
  • Experience working with senior executives to craft and communicate thought leadership content, including keynotes and presentations for industry events.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with agencies, creative partners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing content team.
  • A creative, strategic thinker who is results-driven and thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Experience in AI, cloud, security, and other deep technology fields.
  • Advanced understanding of content analytics and KPIs to measure and refine content performance.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and marketing automation platforms, and social tools.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $200,000-$262,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
