Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) Software Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining AEM-based solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of AEM architecture, as well as expertise in Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies. The Sr. AEM Developer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and front-end developers, to design and implement high-quality, scalable digital experiences.

 

What you will do

• Collaborate closely with the Development Team, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Quality Assurance staff to create software solutions that meet business requirements.
• Analyzes business needs and translates them into technical solutions.
• Designs, develops, and customizes application software to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Codes, tests, and implements software solutions following best practices and quality standards.
• Maintains and supports application software post-deployment, ensuring smooth functionality.
• Documents code, design decisions, and implementation processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoots and resolves software-related issues during the development and production phases.
• Participates in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and identifying areas for improvement.
• Continuously improves and optimizes application performance, security, and scalability.
• Works with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

 

What you will have

• 3 years minimum experience in software development.
• Experience with Agile development necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Development, Mobile Computing, Software Engineering or a related field of study. AEM components and templates Java and Javascript experience AngularJS development experience.
• Experience developing with Adobe Experience Manager v6.0 and higher Experience developing in JAVA with a solid understanding of UI technologies including ReactJS.
• Flexibility to work on night shifts.
• Provide daily production support JAVA / AEM and problem resolution for assigned applications Provides consultation on complex projects.
• Research and evaluate new tools and techniques Design, develop, and implement AEM components and document them Develop Documentation, including Design Specifications and Technical Specifications, and Test Plans Develop systems including coding, testing, and debugging.
• Experience with AEM Digital Asset Management System and Adobe.
• Experience developing with a content management system.
• Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Knowledge of multi-tier architectures.
• Experience using web services (REST, APIs and JSON).
• Experience with relational databases (mySQL preferred).
• Develops Javascript, Query, HTML5, and CSS3 of user-facing features.
• Has familiarity and extensive experience with popular Content.
• Ensures the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Collaborates with business and IT decision-makers to discuss system.
• Requirements and brainstorm ideas for new features.
• Creates and maintains a repository of common assets and reusable code.
• Follows best practices and standards for accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
• Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS, etc.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Experience with Git or other software version control system.
• Experience with Oracle Eloqua Marketing Automation system.
• Knowledge of Java application servers such as Apache, etc.
• Experience with Java Unit Testing.
• Can use responsive web design to create applications that automatically conform to multiple screen sizes/devices.
• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, evaluate alternatives and develop processes and tools as needed to support the organization.
• Strong analytical skills and technical aptitude.
