We are looking for a Technical Content Writer who is passionate about cloud computing and AI, and skilled at turning complex technical topics into clear, compelling content.

As a Technical Content Writer at DigitalOcean, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing cloud computing. You'll research and write about topics such as managed hosting and AI agents, and work closely with the SEO team and other teams in the company.

What You’ll Do:

  • Research and write clear, technically accurate content on managed hosting, AI agents, and related cloud infrastructure topics for developers and technical decision-makers
  • Partner with the SEO team to identify high-value keywords and topics, and optimize content for search visibility
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure content accurately reflects product capabilities and roadmap
  • Build a library of content that helps our audience evaluate, adopt, and get the most out of Cloudways' platform, driving organic traffic and product adoption

Key Metrics:

  • Content accuracy
  • Pieces published per month
  • Organic search traffic and keyword rankings
  • Conversion rate from content to trial/signup
  • Engagement metrics

What You’ll Add to DigitalOcean:

  • 5+ years of experience writing technical content, ideally in cloud infrastructure or SaaS
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts (hosting, compute, AI/ML infrastructure) and ability to translate them for varied audiences
  • Experience working with SEO best practices
  • Excellent writing, editing, and research skills, with a portfolio of published technical content
  • Strong collaborator who works well cross-functionally with SEO, Product, and Engineering to gather technical input and align content with business goals
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines
