Head of Investor Relations

Remote, USA

Your Impact

The Head of Investor Relations leads the company's engagement with the investment community. They will own the IR function end-to-end — earnings execution, analyst and shareholder relationship
management, shareholder base strategy, and disclosure governance — while working closely with the CEO, CFO, Legal, and the disclosure committee. They pair strong analytical capabilities with rigorous
financial communication and sound judgment on disclosure-sensitive topics.

What You'll Do

  • Earnings & Financial Communications: Owns the quarterly earnings cycle: script development, Q&A prep, press release, investor deck, and post-print analyst debrief. Ensures consistency across GAAP/non-GAAP disclosures, guidance methodology, and management commentary quarter to quarter. Partners with FP&A and Accounting so all IR materials reconcile to underlying financials. Builds and maintains the beat and raise model. Partners with Legal on Reg FD compliance and coordinates investor-facing content around 8-K/10-Q/10-K filings. Maintains the IR content calendar to keep earnings, conferences, and ad hoc communications aligned.
  • Analyst & Investor Relationship Management: Serves as the primary point of contact for sell-side coverage and existing/prospective shareholders. Manages the conference and roadshow calendar; prepares executives for fireside chats, 1x1s, and NDRs. Tracks sell-side estimates, rating actions, and thesis shifts, and synthesizes them into actionable summaries for leadership. Identifies and sequences outreach to mandate-appropriate prospects. Uses 13F ownership data and trading liquidity metrics to inform targeting and prioritization of funds that can build positions.
  • Narrative & Positioning: Translates product and competitive strategy into a coherent, disciplined investor narrative — distinguishing what the data supports from narrative inference. Builds and maintains core IR collateral: investor presentation, fact sheet, FAQ, and IR website content.
  • Executive & Board Support: Prepares the CEO, CFO, and other spokespeople for investor-facing engagements. Briefs the Board regularly on shareholder sentiment, analyst perception, and market positioning. Supports capital markets strategy discussions, including capital allocation communication.
  • Market Intelligence & Reporting: Monitors peer performance and small-cap software sentiment broadly; flags implications for DISCO's valuation and positioning. Tracks and reports IR KPIs on a regular cadence — coverage breadth, ownership concentration, liquidity, short interest.
  • AI Strategy & Innovation: Leverages AI and advanced analytics to enhance investor insights, market intelligence, investor communications, and decision-making while ensuring data accuracy,
    confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
