Enablement Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Development Engineer to join our dynamic Platform Engineering team. As a Platform Engineer, you will build libraries and tooling that play a key role in supporting the development, deployment, and maintenance of our platform. You will collaborate with development teams to understand their requirements and work on various aspects of our platform, including building application libraries, infrastructure libraries (CDK constructs), platform services, and other developer tooling. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow.

What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with the development and operations teams to understand their tooling requirements and assist in building scalable solutions that improve developer productivity and streamline the entire software development lifecycle.
- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of application and infrastructure libraries to be used across different projects within the organization.
- Assist in the development of developer tooling, such as code generation frameworks, testing utilities, and deployment automation libraries, to enhance the development and release processes.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of existing tooling and processes, identifying areas for optimization and proposing innovative solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices related to platform engineering and developer tooling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and assist in implementing solutions that enhance the overall efficiency and quality of EnergySage applications.
What We Look For:
- Solid programming skills in at least one language, such as Python, TypeScript, or similar.
- Familiarity with web technologies and frameworks.
- Knowledge of software development practices and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is preferred.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools, containerization technologies, and orchestration tools is preferred.
