Team Overview
We are looking for a Specialist UI Software Development Engineer in Bengaluru to contribute to our UI development efforts and help shape the future of the user interfaces of our products servicing the Securities Finance market.  

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative, client-focused Securities Finance solutions that ensure seamless user experiences for our global clientele.

Role Responsibilities 

• Be a senior contributor to UI development process, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative user interfaces.
• Design, develop, and manage new web-based applications, while maintaining and enhancing existing applications.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering professional growth and best practices within the team.
• Identify and implement processes and procedures which help to increase the performance and productivity of the team.
• Take an active role in all phases of the Agile software development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Assist client support teams in identifying and resolving production issues, defects, and bugs.
• Author and update functional requirements and technical design documentation to ensure clarity and alignment with business needs.
• Validate test plans and scenarios to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external clients, ensuring their needs are met with exceptional service and solutions. 

Required Skills 

• 7+ years of commercial experience in UI development, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional user interfaces.
• Expertise in front-end development using JavaScript frameworks ReactJS  
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, JSPs, Ajax, HTML5, and CSS.
• Deep understanding of agile methodologies, with experience leading projects in an agile environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to plan effectively.
• Previous experience guiding and mentoring team members and supporting their development and ensuring best practices.
• Willingness to learn and understand the underlying business at a detailed and technical level.
• Financial services experience is helpful but not essential.
