Director of Product - Sustainable Investing

What you'll do: 

You’ll lead product development for Ethic’s sustainability team to maintain and improve our product offering around sustainable investing solutions. Our team works closely to conduct sustainability assessment, measure impact, and develop tools to help our clients learn more about the sustainability issues that are important to them. The problems we’re working on are exciting, complex and haven’t been solved before; we’re looking for someone who loves open-ended challenges and working on a team to figure out how to break these problems down into intuitive solutions. You’ll work with an interdisciplinary team across data science, research, and software development to help deliver these solutions.

You will: 

  • Lead product development for features related to sustainable investing, including both data and infrastructure in our investment management process as well as our investor experience around sustainable investing strategies
  • Deeply understand Ethic’s business and client goals to identify areas for improvement and new product development
  • Partner with our sustainability operations team to identify internal team needs for product enhancements across data, research & modeling.
  • Deliver high quality technical solutions in partnership with our engineering team, owning the technical development process from ideation through solutioning, implementation and delivery.

What you’ll bring to the table: 

  • 7-10+ years of experience in product development
  • Strong leadership and vision for the product
  • Strong knowledge of the landscape around sustainable investing, ideally in public markets
  • Experienced in leading and working with an interdisciplinary team to develop, deliver and maintain technical and operational solutions

Compensation & Benefits: 

Compensation at Ethic is a combination of base salary, equity (stock options) in the company, and benefits. 

The base salary for this role will range from $200,000 - $250,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
