We're building a more trustworthy Internet. Come join us.

Fastly is looking for a driven, curious SDR to help us grow our footprint across the Nordics and wider EMEA. Your work will directly contribute to Fastly’s top-line revenue growth by uncovering, sourcing, and developing qualified opportunities from key target accounts.

As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll be responsible for building relationships with prospects, identifying business challenges Fastly can solve, and partnering closely with Account Executives to convert outbound activity into pipeline. You’ll bring energy, creativity, and a genuine appetite for the hunt - and you’ll be supported by an experienced EMEA team that invests heavily in enablement and your career development.

The ideal candidate loves the thrill of outbound prospecting, is motivated by a career in tech sales, and is a self-starter who thrives in a metrics-driven, fast-moving environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Research and identify potential clients and key decision-makers across Nordic and EMEA target accounts to build high-quality prospect lists.

  • Run multi-channel outbound prospecting - cold calling, email, and LinkedIn with the flexibility to engage prospects in additional European languages where you have them.

  • Use our prospecting and intelligence stack (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, Outreach, Cognism, and 6sense) to work accounts efficiently and at scale.

  • Act as a strategic partner to Account Executives, Account Managers, Sales Engineers, and Marketing on territory planning and account strategy.

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads against Fastly’s ideal customer profile and hand off well-qualified opportunities to the AE team.

  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual pipeline targets.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as an SDR/BDR or in a sales / lead-generation role, ideally within B2B SaaS or technology.

  • Ideally, you’ll be an experienced SDR/BDR with a track record of prospecting multi-lingual leads across EMEA and comfortable engaging Nordic or wider European accounts

  • Fluent business English is required. Additional European languages (Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, German, French OR Dutch) would be a plus.

  • Comfortable in a metrics-driven culture and motivated by clear targets.

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and tailor messaging to different buyer personas.

  • Curious by nature - quick to ask questions, learn the product, and understand customer pain points that Fastly can solve.

  • Adaptable, professional, and resilient - able to get things done despite obstacles, and proactive in finding alternative paths when something isn’t working.

  • A genuine desire to work hard, exceed expectations, and outperform quota.

Work Location & Travel Requirements

  • Core hours are 9:00am – 6:00pm GMT (with a one-hour lunch), Monday to Friday.

  • This role is based in our London office on a hybrid schedule - in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

  • Occasional travel may be required as needed by the role or your manager.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

An "Armed forces service medal veteran" means a veteran who, while serving on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service, participated in a United States military operation for which an Armed Forces service medal was awarded pursuant to Executive Order 12985.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
