Partnerships Lead, New Verticals

New York, NY

About Figure

Figure Technology Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: FIGR; OPEN: FGRS) is the leading blockchain-native capital marketplace for the origination, funding, sale and trading of tokenized assets. More than 480 partners use its loan origination system and capital marketplace. Collectively, Figure and its partners have originated over $30 billion of loans to date, among other products. The fastest growing components are Figure Connect, its credit marketplace, and Democratized Prime, Figure’s on-chain lend-borrow marketplace. Figure’s ecosystem also includes DART (Digital Asset Registry Technology) for asset custody and lien perfection, and $YLDS, a yield-bearing stablecoin registered with the SEC as a security under the Securities Act of 1933.

Figure is the market leader in real-world asset (RWA) tokenization. The company has received triple-A ratings from S&P and Moody’s on multiple loan securitizations, the first of its kind for blockchain finance.

We’re proud to be recognized as one of Forbes’ Top 50 Fintech Companies and CNBC’s World’s Top Fintech Companies.

About the Role

You will scale three New Verticals: depository institutions, home improvement, and small business lending.

This role grows the volume of loans originated on Figure's platform. We want lenders, platforms, and depository institutions to originate on Figure's loan origination system, through private-label programs, embedded and SaaS-style integrations, and direct adoption. You take these partnerships from first conversation through launch and scaling: structuring the commercial terms, negotiating, and pulling together the internal teams needed to launch.

You will report to the Director of Platform Partnerships and primarily own the hard middle of the process, where partnerships are actually won or lost.

Work across Figure's key growth markets (including small business, home improvement, and depository institutions) to bring partners onto the platform via direct relationships, private-label programs, embedded integrations, and key channel ecosystem partnerships.

What You'll Do

  • Map the market and source high-value strategic, product, and channel partnerships.
  • Structure and negotiate the commercial terms and product setup for each partner.
  • Build our new bank and credit union channel, landing the partners and integrations that make Figure easy for these institutions to adopt.
  • Win partnerships in the home improvement and small business lending ecosystems that drive funded volume across multiple products (e.g. HELOC, fix-&-flip, DSCR).
  • Coordinate the internal teams a launch depends on, including product, engineering, credit, legal, and implementation, to get partners live and scaling.
  • Own each partnership internally. Spot where it is likely to stall and clear the path before it does.
  • Build repeatable program structures and playbooks so each new partnership moves faster than the last.
  • Track your deal pipeline and activity in Salesforce (our CRM).

What We Look For

  • 5+ years in strategic partnerships, investment banking, venture capital / private equity, business development, consulting, or a related field (we care way more about your actual impact and scope of work than the exact years on your resume—so if you're a bit outside this range, definitely still apply!). Experience with lending, fintech, SaaS, or financial institutions is a plus.
  • A track record building platform, product, or channel partnerships, ideally involving banks, credit unions, and non-bank lenders – including the systems they run on.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the patience to run a long, multi-party process all the way to launch.
  • A working understanding of consumer and small-business lending. You do not need deep capital-markets expertise for this role, but you should understand how originations work.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, and good at getting cross-functional teams to move.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to own outcomes.
  • Nice to have: experience partnering with or selling into depositories, POS, LOS, or core integrations, or home-improvement and small-business lending.
  • Adhere to all company security policies and data handling procedures.
  • Complete mandatory security awareness training within required timeframes.
  • Promptly report any suspected security incidents or suspicious activity to the Security team.

Salary

  • Base Compensation Range: $120,000 - $150,000/yr
  • On-target earnings: $190,000 - $240,000/yr
  • Company equity in the form of RSUs

This is the compensation range for the role in the United States. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate’s experience, skills, location, internal equity, and evolving business needs. While most offers are generally made within the middle of the range, final compensation is determined based on the factors above.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, with 100% employer-paid premiums for employees and their dependents on select plans
  • Company HSA, FSA, Dependent Care FSA, 401(k), and commuter benefits
  • Employer-paid life and disability insurance
  • 11 observed holidays and PTO plan
  • Up to 12 weeks of paid family leave
  • Continuing education reimbursement
