To complement our rapid growth, we are actively seeking a talented and experienced Sr. People Partner to strategically partner with business units in advancing their priorities, champion organizational wide People initiatives, and bring to life Five9 values and leadership principles in everyday employee experiences. As our Sr. People Partner, you’ll be a crucial component of the People team. You will drive talent initiatives to help our business reach its potential. You have a “roll up your sleeves” approach to solving problems and driving results. You want to understand the business model and share perspective that helps leaders build and grow high performing teams. Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leaders and their leadership teams to translate business strategies and issues into appropriate HR and organizational actions.
  • Drive organization solutions in talent management, change management, diversity and inclusion, career, and leadership development to improve and maintain the quality of the Five9 culture.
  • Partner effectively with HR COE teams to ensure consistency and scalability of programs and processes as needed.
  • Drive informed decision-making using data to identify trends, resolve root causes of issues, and develop effective solutions. Conduct HR business analysis and make recommendations to improve processes and policies.
  • Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions and job re-leveling.
  • Work with line managers and employees to address various employee relations issues, fairly representing all interests.
  • Partner with the talent acquisition team to build systemic and scalable recruiting programs to create a sustainable pipeline of talent.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and internal HR communications.
  • Serve as program lead for various HR and corporate initiatives.
  • Oversee immigration process for technical hires in partnership with executive customers, ensure excellent planning and implementation of key HR initiatives and programs.

 Key Requirements:

  • 7+ years’ experience in a related role and experience building HR programs and supporting client groups
  • Good technical knowledge of human resources and its role within the business.
  • Experience building scalable HR programs and processes.
  • Excellent knowledge of the related regulatory environment including but not limited to FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • Data Driven & Effective Problem Solver - Good analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills are required to provide support as described.
  • Organization & Project Management Skills - Excellent planning, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills. Ability to lead projects/programs through to successful completion working with COE’s & in support of the people roadmap & ROB’s.
  • Agility - The ability to handle competing priorities calmly under pressure and within restricted timeframes is essential.

Work Location: This role is hybrid. 3 days a week (M, W, TH) in our San Ramon office is required.

The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the job across the United States. Additionally, the total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.

All compensation and benefits are subject to the requirements and restrictions set forth in the applicable plan documents and any written agreements between the parties.

The US base salary range for this role is below.

$102,400 - $195,800 USD
