Product Manager - Biometric

We are looking for a passionate Product Manager to lead and grow our Biometrics product suite — one of the most technically sophisticated areas of Fourthline's Identity Verification platform. You'll work at the intersection of applied AI and financial crime prevention: turning state-of-the-art machine-learning models into production-grade products that verify human identities at scale — from automating KYC checks to enabling seamless biometric authentication for returning users.

You'll lead this product area in close partnership with the Engineering Manager and ML engineers — shaping the roadmap, driving outcomes together, and connecting technical progress to real business impact.

What you'll do:

• Lead the biometrics product area in close partnership with the Engineering Manager and ML engineers — aligning on priorities, unblocking the team, and ensuring product and engineering move in the same direction toward shared outcomes.

• Shape a clear product roadmap in collaboration with engineering and data science — grounded in technical feasibility and business priorities, and communicated effectively to commercial and leadership audiences.

• Work hand-in-hand with ML engineers to define what "production-ready" looks like for AI-powered verification checks — jointly balancing model performance, user experience, and regulatory requirements.

• Drive measurable business outcomes together with the team: improving automation rates, increasing verification conversion, strengthening fraud prevention, and building the business case for new capabilities.

• Take a data-driven approach to prioritization, using metrics like automation rates, match accuracy, and false acceptance/rejection rates — and work with the team to instrument, interpret, and act on them.

• Ensure biometric products meet the highest quality, security, and regulatory standards, including data protection requirements around biometric and sensitive personal data.

What you have:

• 5+ years of experience in a Product Owner or Manager role, with meaningful exposure to ML, computer vision, or AI-powered products.

• A genuine interest in applied AI — you don't need to build the models, but you understand the ML development lifecycle and how to turn research-stage work into production-grade products.

• The ability to connect product decisions to business outcomes — building ROI cases, defining success metrics, and communicating value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• A collaborative mindset and experience working closely with engineering, data, and commercial teams to define and deliver on product requirements.

• Experience in identity verification, biometrics, or in Banking/FinTech/RegTech is a strong plus.
