As a Commercial Analyst, you will contribute to the development, structuring and execution of investments in renewable infrastructure projects. You will work closely together with a highly experienced team and will play a role in evaluating opportunities, perform due diligence, analyzing market trends and financial data to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the financial modelling and conduct comprehensive financial analysis and provide commercial insights including valuations, pro-forma financial modelling and risk assessment to evaluate feasibility of each renewable energy transaction;
• Assist in the development of business cases for new initiatives and investments in renewable energy;
• Collaborate with and support the legal and finance teams to structure renewable energy deals, negotiate terms and ensure alignment with strategic objectives;
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on current and future projects. Assist in the development of business cases for new initiatives and investments in renewable energy;
• Develop and track key performance indicators to measure the success of renewable energy initiatives;
• Provide regular reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting growth opportunities, market insights and progress towards expansion goals;
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for renewable energy projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field;
• Minimum four (4) years of proven and professional experience within the banking, consulting or renewable energy or related industries;
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. This should be backed by having solid corporate finance knowledge, particularly in terms of mastering valuation and financing;
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills and very strong attention to detail;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely;
• Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, markets, and regulatory environments is a plus;
• Proficiency in verbal and written English.
