Business Analyst, Enterprise Systems & Process Excellence

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Who we are:

For over 25 years, Global Relay has set the standard in enterprise information archiving with industry-leading cloud archiving, surveillance, eDiscovery, and analytics solutions. We securely capture and preserve the communications data of the world’s most highly regulated firms, giving them greater visibility and control over their information and ensuring compliance with stringent regulations.

Though we offer competitive compensation and benefits and all the other perks one would expect from an established company, we are not your typical technology company. Global Relay is a career-building company. A place for big ideas. New challenges. Groundbreaking innovation. It’s a place where you can genuinely make an impact – and be recognized for it.

We believe great businesses thrive on diversity, inclusion, and the contributions of all employees. To that end, we recruit candidates from different backgrounds and foster a work environment that encourages employees to collaborate and learn from each other, completely free of barriers.

Your role:

In the Enterprise Systems function, we "fix" and design the central nervous system of the company. We are looking for a Business Analyst who lives at the intersection of process excellence and technology. You will be the bridge between our business stakeholders (Finance, Sales, HR, Marketing, Customer Success, Client Support) and our Technical Product Managers (TPMs). Your goal is to ensure that every system change is rooted in a refined business process, every data flow is visible, and every solution delivers measurable value. If you find beauty in a perfectly optimized Business Process Model and Notation diagram and satisfaction in a seamless cross-functional handoff, you’re in the right place.

Your responsibilities:

  • Map current (“as-is”) and future (“to-be”) processes with clarity and precision, identifying inefficiencies, gaps, and workarounds
  • Partner closely with Technical Product Managers to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements - making sure the “why” is well understood before the “how” is built
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across Finance, Sales, HR, Marketing, and Customer Success, helping align priorities and shape sustainable solutions
  • Ensure data flows effectively across systems by documenting dependencies, integrations, and data lineage
  • Support discovery sessions, process audits, and solution design to ensure we’re solving the right problems
  • Facilitate UAT and support business readiness through practical guides and documentation (including “day-in-the-life” workflows)
  • Develop and deliver key readiness materials such as impact assessments, process documentation, and training content to support adoption
  • Keep documentation current and relevant as processes and systems evolve

About You:

  • You have 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Process Analyst, or similar role within an Enterprise Systems or Digital Transformation environment.
  • You’re familiar with enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, and HCM systems and how they connect
  • You’re proficient with tools like Miro, Visio, or Signavio, and comfortable working in Jira/Confluence
  • You communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • You hold a degree in Business, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or bring equivalent practical experience
  • You naturally think beyond the surface - you understand how actions in one system impact processes downstream
  • You’re experienced in Business Process Management (BPM) and value clear, well-structured process documentation
  • You bring clarity to ambiguity and produce work that is structured, concise, and easy to follow
  • You’re comfortable working across functions - whether discussing financial processes, sales operations, or HR workflows
